Hey. I have a question about my TV set.
When we turn it on, it gets sound for about 3 seconds, then it turns off and the small red light on the front blinks rapidly for a few seconds. The image never appears on the TV (just sound) and it turns off shortly afterwards. Anything that you can tell me would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
I sounds like the projection bulb has failed. I think there is a red lamp on the front that lights up when the bulb fails however.
This sounds very similiar to what mine did when the bulb failed about 2 months ago. Once the buld fails the TV will shut itself down and keep doing that until the bulb is replaced.

Thanks. I believe our bulb did fail, but after a few weeks of letting it sit, we turned it back on and it worked. We decided to never turn it off, because the problem first occurred when we turned it off, and it wouldn't turn back on. After we decided to just leave it on and never turn it off, we had no problems. Until the power went out. Now, were just going to try and wait a few more weeks and pray that it decides to turn itself back on again. Hopefully, the power won't go out next time.
