Zanussi zdt 6053 usually will not run full cycle (on any cycle) but stops with constant error beeps. But it is draining ok and sometimes goes full cycle (not often) Any ideas?

Could be anything!
If you suspect that there is a fault then it will be displayed by blinking LED "END OF CYCLE". As the display of failure in hexadecimal code it can flash up to max. 15 times than short pause and after that repeat fault code. You must to count the number of times the LED "END OF CYCLE" flash up.

Example from user manual: Anti-flood device is activated.
- continuous flashing of the indicator light of the running programme
- 3 intermittent audible signals
- 3 flashes of the END OF CYCLE indicator light
(which means "i30" fault code, the cycle is interrupted and the
drain pump switches on).
Possible causes:
Water leakage from the tub - sump and various connections
(pump, upper spray arm duct etc.); floating sensor blocked
mechanically; microswitch faulty; fill solenoid blocked
mechanically; circuit board faulty (solenoid triac short-circuited);
wiring faulty.
26226179-aipk5px1bmfkdpsmrgevaqwn-3-1.jpg Could be also:
To cancel a washing programme in progress:
- Open the dishwasher's door.
- Press the programme selection/cancel button for about 3 seconds,
until the indicator light of the running programme turns off and the
END OF CYCLE indicator light flashes, indicating that the running
programme has been cancelled and that the machine has
returned to setting mode. It is now possible to select another
washing programme. If a new washing programme will be
selected, check that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser.

NOTE: only during the drying phase, if the dishwasher's door will be opened and remains open for more then 30 seconds, the running programme will be automatically cancelled and the machine will return to setting mode. This will happen, always only during the drying phase, also when the machine is switched off by pressing the
On/Off button and remains switched off for more then 30 seconds.

I have a Kenmore washer #11026002010. I am having problems with the water overfilling and not progressing to the next cycle. Would you have info on the fault codes and also the recalibration procedure

Does it sound like it wants to spin? If so more than likely the motor coupler broke causing your washer to not spin. It is one of the most common parts that fail.

Anyhow Sears is the best bet for your answers they even list all the steps needed to trouble shoot.

NOTE: LED names may vary between
makes and models.

FAULT CODE DISPLAY MODE (Pgs 6-7)
To access fault/error codes, perform steps 1
and 2 of Activating the Service Diagnostic Test

NOTE: A fault/error code will be removed
from memory if it does not reoccur after
10 consecutive wash cycles.
2. To clear fault codes:

Machine goes through the wash cycle then stops before it rinses and spins . Machine displays F1 OR F5 which indicates an error has occured , have to empty manually but cant get it to spin at all .....

Hello
F1 is usually a low water code.Check your hoses and water supply inlet screen for any bulid up of dirt or sediment.
Also the water inlet valve may need to be replaced.

F5 is a water temp fault.Possible bad heating element or thermostat.

The F1 code could be causing the F5.
Due to low water.

I have a 1991 GMC Sonoma I took my truck to the repair shop and the mechanic put on plungs, wires, rotary, cap, and gasket and my truck still stop. The mechanic did not know what code 22 and code 34 means....

very good point so now you should be going to an accredited service center with experience on your make of vehicle googling the fault codes give s the result
code 22 indicates that the throttle position (TPS) is reading abnormally low TPS voltage should be .42 volts at closed throttle rising smoothly .02 v increments to a max voltage of 4.85 v at full throttle
code 34 indicates that the mass air flow (MAF) sensor circuit ( signal voltage low-high vacuum
check the air filter and replace the MAF sensor
now , I can get this information from using google , it doesn't say much for the mechanics ability or training
for your own personal information , when you get a fault code show up, go google and type in -GM fault code ( what ever it is ) and there are plenty of sites that will give you the fault in detail -- for example I typed ij gm fault code 22 and got the information
It really helps you when you front a shop and you know the area of the fault first as it stops the rip off before it starts

After washer runs for a few minutes it stops and runs agains, stops and runs again with stop and start intervals getting shorter and never finishes cycle. Seems it's unable to spin continuously.

there are usualy sensors for the spin so that the drum is balanced properly if one of the sensors is faulty it will not spin or if the wate is not draining aswell so check the owners manual to see if there are any tests for he sensors that can be run to give you a code for the fault

Leak from lower door section and from powder door thing.

This could be a partially or completely seized/failed pump.
Before a machine goes in to a spin cycle, it runs the pump to empty all the water out. It used to be quite common that the machine does not check all the water has gone before spinning, it just runs the pump for a set time which if the pump is okay, is long enough to empty it.
If a spin is then started with quite a lot of water left in the drum, it gets thrown everywhere including back out of the powder/conditioner draw. Also the sheer strain of spinning a large amount of water can force water through an otherwise okay door seal.
Unless you are comfortable working on the machine yourself, call an engineer.
