We had a power outage yesterday and now my printer won't turn on. Everything else on the surge protector is working great. Is there a reset button on the printer?
No, there is no reset button.
disconnect the pirnter from the computer and the power cord. press and hold the power button for 30sec. connect the power cord, and connect it back to the computer.
Wow! This really worked! Thanks, Frank!
Holy Cow, worked on my Canon MB2320 too! I was just about to take it out on the balcony and give it the 25 foot drop test..
Darn! I tried this, and it didn't work for me. Mine also won't turn on after a power outage this morning :(
I had my doubts, and so did my husband--but it worked!!!! I don't understand why holding down the button while it is unplugged from power and the computer works, but by golly, it DID! Thanks a TON!
Didn’t work but my wireless printer is not hooked to my computer. Any more ideas?

Disconnect printer and then press power button for 30 seconds, Then connect the power source and restart your printer, If it did not work take help from https://printertechsupportnumbers.com/blog/fix-hp-printer-wont-turn/
SOURCE: my printer won't turn on after a power failure.
Most of the time if your printer will not turn on that means that the low voltage power supply is shot. If the machine is under warranty you may be able to have it replaced.
There is no reset on the printer, if you cannot get the printer replaced under warranty I recommend buying a new printer as you cannot even order the parts to fix the printer with the problems you are having.
Hope This helps!
