Discs load okay, but disc fails to spin up. open the cabinet... manually spinning the disc seems to get the motor started and the disc will play fine. however upon stopping the play and the disc is ejected ANY next disc will again not spin up.
I have an idea about this one...
in a lot of CD players, the CD gets clamped between two plates and then the motors start to spin.
sometimes the plates create too much friction and the cd doesn't spin fast enough.
try to adjust the positing of two circular plates ABOVE AND BELOW where the CD should spin.

Take the small back cover off and take some electrical grade contact cleaner and spray all around the lens area, that worked for me.

Why don't you create some more fake Hurricane CDs, rip off a bunch of people again, and just buy a new one with all the stolen money?? Why not do that fucknuts?

That is usually because of dirty or defetive lens.
Try first using a len cleaner , like the ones here.
If
this does not work it will be necessary to take apart the unit and
accees the lens to clean it, or replace the lens pickup. The repair must be done by a technician.
In this case call the number listed on the owner manual to get assistance
SOURCE: CANNOT OPEN PLAYER
To open the drawer, unplug the unit while the power is on (so that the drawer doesn't try to open on its own). Keeping the unit flat on a table, look underneath and find the small hole where you can turn the loading gear. Rotate it until the unit opens, using a standard flat screwdriver. The loading gear is a white plastic part with a slot in it. You should be able to see it rotate if you move the drawer by hand.
After manually removing the disc, turn the gear with your screwdriver until the drawer is all the way in, The gear should be able to be turned for three or four more turns when the drawer stops loading. If it doesn't, turn it a bit further unit it "pops" past one more gear notch. It should then turn freely for a few more turns, at this point you should stop. Do not force it once it stops the second time. This is the "Disc Loaded" position.
Power the unit back up and see if it loads a disc and plays correctly.
