When i open my dvd
It is possible that the amplifier had encountered a fault with a higher current drain which had triggered it to a protection fault condition. The fault can be your output drivers- the MOSFETS/IC's fitted for both the channels, Use a meter after disconnecting to check for short in the drivers. Disconnect the positive and negative voltages to the output and see if the protect changes. Even a fault in the preamp stages that drives in high current into the output can shut the Amplifier. Sometimes this can be a noise like a HUM or HISS before the protect works. Faulty capacitors in these circuits also can cause similar issues and needs close observation.
You need to confirm and replace the specific stages or outputs. If not there can be issues in the mother board, maybe the protect circuit by itself is shutting off due to a faulty bias , maybe a leak in any voltage/current sensing circuit. Also disconnect the speakers and test, if the protect is off then check for short on the speakers.

Hi, The protection means the amp detects a short or open and will not work.
This auto off feature means the output section is damaged. I have seen
this particular model having a lot of failures lately. More than likely
the have a faulty component, they also probably have a good idea of what
serial numbers this falls under. Did they ask for that?
Also try to disconnect everything first and see if
the protection warning is still there. If not you have a short or open
in something else.

After dvd shows to be loading, message says disk
I believe one of two things is the couse. First try to look inside to see the disc spin or listen for the hum of the disc spining; drive motor may have failed.(not hard to fix if you can find a motor online) Second and a much easier fix if the motor is spinning,is to disassemble the cabinet and clean the lense with a Q-tip carefully.

Check
for fingerprints or dirt on your DVD. Wipe it clean and try again. Also
check for scratches. Try another DVD and see if your system reads it. If it does not try cleaning the drive laser lens with a CD lens cleaner available at places such as KMart or WalMart in the electronic section. If that still does not work chances are you laser on your drive is bad and needs replaced. It will need servicing.

Hi,
This happens because of drive belt problem.Due to some duct the rotation of the motor
is interrupted.Just tap on top of the player when it shows open.this may solve it.If still problem persist then no other go you need to give for service.The drive belt might have damaged or the dust particles stopping it from opening.

Are you getting any error message? Did you try with different disk? What type of disk you are using (are you using a compatible disk)?
