Yesterday I noticed that my Capresso Coffee Team 455 did not sound right when it was boiling the water. In addtiion to the pronounced gurgling sound it normally makes due to the water being forced up the tube when it was boiling it was also making a hissing sound. It completed brewing and I figured I would look at it in a day or two, Today it did the same, and in addition I noticed that the window covering the LCD was steamed up from the inside. Then while still brewing it started grinding again so I unplugged it. Later I came back and noticed that the remaining water had leaked on to the counter, so I suspect there is a gasket that has deteriorated. I want to disassemble it so that I can try to fix it. I already removed the screws from the bottom but the bottom does not want to come off. Would appreciate details about disassembly and perhaps suggestions for what I am going to need to replace and a source for the parts. It has been a good machine for the past couple of years, having replaced its predecessor which had a glass carafe and also lasted several years. $100 per year seems kind of a steep price to pay for coffee makers. Thanks in advance for your help.

I am having the same problem. I tried every resetting and cleaning in the manual. No luck. Coffee grounds, water everything is going directly to the used grounds bin. Any luck?

The dial on the upper right is all you need to do. Turn from the coffee cup to the water symbol. Water will pour out the spigot from the frother wand so put a cup under it. Close the tap when prompted by turning the dial back to the cup symbol

Your spout is probly cracked (a common problem). It won't hurt the machine if you want to live with making one cup at a time to catch it all.
