Try this for BEX problems:
right click on my computer
go to properties
click on advanced system settings
under performance, click settings
click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
click Add, browse to the executable file for the program and add it.

Sounds like a problem with msn messenger. If you use this program try uninstalling it then installing it again.

I'm trying to play MASS EFFECT. I have installed the game. as soon as i go to play on the first splash screen or whatever, it takes me to another window explaining how this is my first time playing and so forth. It actually looks like it ws about to do something. Then imidietly a windows vista window pops up telling me to either close the program or look for solution online. When I try and look for solutions online it closes the program and there are no internet browser pop ups to tell me what's wrong. I've gone to the site for support and it's not helping. My video card is an 8800 GT. Processor AMD Phenom 8400 triple core processor 2.10 GHz. Although the game requires 2.4 or faster i've been told that it doesn't matter. I just got this computer in september! Don't tell me i need a faster one already?! I've got 3 gigs of ram And the require ments for that are just 1. recomended is 2 gigs. I've noticed that there is also a downloadable game being sold by EA online but i've got the Disk one. I went to best Buy :D
Anyways, I tried uninstalling SV1 for vista, o yea i forgot to say i got vista... I updated my driver, scanned my computer for viruses Using Eset anti Virus. I've looked for support on this issue and there doesn't seem to be any on this. I also have way more free space then needed on my computer. 97 gigs around and i only need 12 gigs of free space.
I don't know what else to do. Do i really need a 2.4GH + computer? I can even play Conan perfectly fine and yet it requires 3 GH.

I have the BEX prboelm in widnows live messeenger and it dowsn´t work uninstalling and reinstalling it. What should I do?
I'm running Vista Home Premium on an HP Pavilion DV7 1125ea and have
exactly the same problem as "elaaoudi" with Windows Live Messenger 8.5. If try to
use webcam or run Audio/video set up or Webcam set up it just crashes
and presents a close down screen. HELP!
