SOURCE: fridge not cooling
It might be that the fan motor somehow got disconnected or
worn out, or that the fan itself is stuck.
It’s located in back of the freezer.
Gently unscrew the back and check it out. You might also have to unscrew the thermostat
housing if it is on the top of the fridge part.
If the fan is turning, it’s okay.
If not, turn the thermostat down to its lowest setting and see if it
turns on. If not, unplug it and test it
with a continuity tester. If, there’s no
continuity it will need to be replaced.
Good luck.
SOURCE: freezer works but fridge remains warm.
The same fan that circulates air in the freezer also blows air in to the fridge. If you open the freezer door and hold the door switch closed you should hear the fan running. If not you have a failed motor or motor control. Look at the back wall of the freezer section and see if there is a heavy frost build up. If so. you have a defrost system problem. Please post back with what you find and with the complete model number and I will try to walk you through the steps of checking everything.
Thanks/Mike
SOURCE: Burning plastic smell INSIDE refrigerator
look for a door/light switch, and depress it do the lights go out?? bad switch will keep the lights on and melt plastic lens covers.. could also be nothing and you happened to open open the door right as a defrost cycle was completing( there is a heating elemnt in your freezer) watch your dairy, ice cream nad milk are real good indicators of refrigeration issues. as far as runnig all the time no real" time limit" as to how long it should be running.

SOURCE: Inside top of refrigerator hot light don't turn off.
There is a service bulletin related to this, dealing with deformation / melting of the lamp cover. The fix is to change the lamp wire harness to one that now has a thermal protector incorporated in it (part number 6621JK2003B) along with changing the main PCB board to one that uses a larger relay for this function (part number 6871JB1423N).
In case you want or need to replace the following,
The lamp cover is part number 3110JA1096A and the lamp holder is part number 3034JA1009A
I tried to cut and paste a few photo's, but was unsuccessful. Sorry. Make sure to test that fans and light switches work after part changes.
