Water runs out at the bottom of the front cover of the machine and doesn't spin properly?

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

Whirlpool Duet front loader washer willnt drain?

As others have said once you remove the panel towards the bottom. There is a very poor "coin catch" It supposed to act like a screen. It doesn't catch much. Be sure to get as much water out of the machine first,by hand. If the machine is on a stand it really helps with the mess. What I've found is women wear something called footies. It's something like a sock but only covers their toes. They tend to go right through that "coin trap" and into the motor itself. Fortunately the motor assembly comes apart rather easy, once it's removed, and you can remove the offending item from around the pump impeller. Put it all back together. Don't wash footies, use HE detergent only, and wash away. Almost all these machines have similar problems. I think the repair cost/time isn't worth the energy saved, but they are so cool to watch.

Bosch Excel 1200 washing machine stops at spin cycle, doesn't seem to be draining properly. If I open front drainage hatch to let water out the machine will start its spin cycle. Happening every wash...

Your filter will be clogged, causing the empty pump not to drain in time (usually they get about 8 minutes and fault out). If the picture I have of your machine is correct, there is a small door at the bottom of the machine on the right. Open the door, unscrew the filter, clean and replace and all should be well. NOTE: It's worth tipping the machine back by 45 degrees when you do this so any water left in the machine doesn't pour out, but having a couple of towels to hand would still be a good idea.

Please add a comment if the above has not fixed your problem and I will try to help further

Spins but laundry is still dripping wet

This happens to me sometimes. My washing machine doesn't drain right into the drain, I have a pipe coming out of the back of the machine that I have to hook into the kitchen sink myself to let the water drain out. My washing machine was still full and I realized that it was because my sink was a little blocked and so it was draining too slowly and leaving water in the machine. If there was too much water, it would sometimes help to put the machine on again or put it on a drain cycle. My machine doesn't have a spin cycle so it will just give your clothes an extra spin so I couldn't do that and my clothes would still come out dripping wet. I advise that you give them another spin before you take them out if possible! xxThe fact that the washing machine is spinning but not drying clothes shows that there is some problem with the outlet of water. The water outlet is blocked. You can check for the blockage yourself. Normally threads or other waste accumulate in the water outlet, and if possible you can remove it yourself. Otherwise call your washing machine's customer services center and ask them to send a repair man

Whirlpool 6245e top loader machine does not spin or wash at all

Hope that no money is required.\
Check the drive belt between the motor and the transmission. If wet or oily or loose, correct the problem and test.

If leaking water, you may have a loose hose fitting, check them with a flashlight while running a test cycle. If not a hose, then a seal (not practical to repair yourself).

FINAL NOTE: DO NOT spend more than 75 dollars to repair a 3 year old or older washing machine. You can buy a used one that works fine for 50 to 75 dollars on Craigs List or other local web site.

Best of luck. -Jim
