Can't change date and time changed on kodak easy

Check Kodak's website for a firmware update for your C180; it was designed for Windows and Mac but it is not likely compatible with Android used in the Nextbook.

Press MENU, use cursor-left/right to highlight Setup, then use cursor-up/down to select "Date & Time". Use cursor-left/right to move between fields, cursor-up/down to change the current field. Press OK when done.

Press the MENU button. Use cursor-left/right to select the Setup tab. Use cursor-up/down to select the fourth item from the bottom of the menu. This will let you change the language. Date & Time is the eighth item on the same setup menu.

Did you install the software and/or drivers before connecting it to your computer? if not, the computer won't recognize the camera. If you don't have the disk that came with the camera, you can get the software for free from Kodak's website. Download the software and drivers, then reconnect the camera to the pc with it turned on. That should solve your problem.

Turn the Kodak's dial to "Capture" mode. This brings up the camera display. Press the "Program" button behind the dial.

Press the "Down" button until "Date Stamp" is highlighted. Press the "OK" or "Set" button to access the date-stamp menu.

Press the "Down" button to change the selection to "None." This removes the date stamp.

Press "OK" to save the setting. Press "Program" to return to capture mode.

Press MENU, use left/right to highlight Setup, use up/down to select Date&Time.

Kodak's advice is disinformation & damage control: this is actually a product defect--it's a firmware bug that affects most Kodak Easyshare cameras, but Kodak will probably never admit it. The problem usually starts after you change the batteries or connect the camera to the computer. Google for "Kodak easyshare wont turn on" - there are more than 8,000,000 results. Just returned my new camera to the store because it locks up every time I change the card or transfer pictures via the USB port. Thought I was getting a good deal, but now I know why this was the cheapest camera they sold. What a waste of my time & money. So it's usually NOT the batteries fault--the real problem here is Kodak's low quality engineering.

Please go into the menu, camera settings, date and time.

You can also reset the camera: Take the batteries out for longer than 10 sec. reinsert and the camera automatically asks you to set date and time.
