You have to format you flash drive using NTFS. but using this option makes your flash drive to wear out much faster..
NTFS is a journaling files system and, as such, reads and writes to files much more often than other file systems like FAT and FAT32. This is because disk transactions are logged separately on the disk as they occur.
To enable NTFS on your drive, right click My Computer and select Manage. Open the Device Manager and find your USB drive under the Disk Drives heading. Right click the drive and select Properties, then go to the Policies tab and select the "Optimize for performance" option and Click OK.
Once you do that, open up My Computer and right click on the flash drive and select Format. There you will see that you now have the option to format to NTFS in the File System dropdown box.

I just got a transcend jetflash 620 16gb usb drive and my xbox 360 does not pick it up although it is formatted in FAT32 and i am also using a transcend jetflash V30 4gb which works perfectly fine, why so...

Follow the instructions for formatting the flashdrive on your Xbox here. Simply formatting it on your computer is not sufficient and you may have forgotten that you did this step for your smaller flashdrive. As you can see in the link, Xbox supports up to 16 GB so you may not be able to use all of the space if your flashdrive is any larger than is supported. Flashdrives are not the size they are marketed to be and tend to be smaller than advertised but it would not be unheard of for it to be larger. If this is the case, you will only be able to use a portion, albeit a very large one. I hope this helps and have a nice day!

I can't transfer file larger than 4GB on my transcend 16GB but i can transfer different files less than 4 GB if the sum does not exceed 16GB

If your device uses the FAT32 file system, 4GB (minus 1 byte) is the maximum file size supported. It's simply a limitation of the file system.

Problem with memory card

Hi,
your camera can only read so many partitions
( File Allocation Tables )
( partitions are sections of the total volume )
Like slices of a cake.
which equals 4 GB, total.

so it will never be able to read more than this.

Like FAT32 on a Pc, will read 32GB
but you could have a 100GB hard drive in the machine, still reads 32GB only, so even on a PC 68GB would be wasted.

The file format on the camera can not change,

So you are stuck with 4GB max reading.

Hope this halps
Regards
Richard.
