Battery charger for pride
Is there a power switch on the charger? Is charger connected to the battery? Are the batteries fully charged?
I have a old pride victory 3 scooter working well
It is best to let it charge at least over night, longer if it hasn't been used for a while. It is also good to give them a long workout (Don't completely flatten them though) at least occaisionally. If they get regular and thorough use they will last longer, but extra weight like shopping, or lots of steepish paths will flatten them a lot faster. They are only supposed to last a couple of years, but will go longer if you look after them.
One of the most important things is to find a supplier/repairman you can trust. These are, after all your legs or mode of transport you are talking about.
Rear charging socket broken
You can get a repalcement charging socket and then replace the broken one your self. There are 3 terminls on the back of the socket make a note where each lead is on terminal and replace them one at a time very gently,(they are normally the push on type.If you think it is not for you to do get a mobilty service person to do it for you.
I have a 3 Wheel

Trying to replace a faulty
For the Victory XL 4 there is a Penny and Giles Egis 70 Amp controller. Looking from the back of the scooter the 4 vertical plugs on the left going from bottom to top are for the following:
bottom plug to charger
plug for lighting package with 7 connectors
plug to battery connector
top plug to motor
My count is 4 connectors unless we are talking about individual connections.
Are you talking about the accessory lighting plug and harness with several connectors to lights, turn signals, etc.
If you clarify your model and description I can send you the illustrated parts breakdown as a pdf.
There is a chance you have the wrong part if you did not order from the manufacturer by model and serial number. What is your part source?
Hi guys.
I would very much
all though it would be nice to speed up this scooter but I highly recommend not trying to altar any gear ratios or the motor on this without taking risk of tearing up the motor that is in it. The motor in it has built to certain specifications altering this can cause it to burn up. If you had this for a while, and you have notice a drop in it performance try recharging the batteries to max or replacing it.
Again I highly don't recommend over hauling this.
Turning is stiff
Head bearings need loosening off or replacing. Could also be bent steerer tube or track rods etc.

When I switch my mobility scooter on lights etc
hi, I first suggust you make sure that Freewheel is disengaged,
to test this try to push the scooter forward if it moves forward move the lever ,
Check the Wigwam or throttle controls to make sure they are not loose,
Check for reset switches under the seat or on the steering stem,
Check for car type fuses under the seat.
Pride Zero Turn 10 - 4 beep code randomly while driving.
It is called the "current limit time out." Apparently the battery needs to recuperate or adjust its charge across the cells. That is another question. What it needs is a few minutes to be turned off. I know this from seeing the manual.

Where is the fuse on my Jazzy pride mobility scooter
the fuse box location may vary depending on the model of the scooter. However, it is usually located under the seat of the Jazzy scooter. You can access it by unscrewing the two bolts that hold the seat in place. Once you remove the seat, you should see a black box with a white label that says "FUSE". The fuse is located inside this box.
