The only way to get the unlock code is to contact your service provider asit requires special softwares and tools to unlock it or you can also go to www.unlockexpert.com and get your phone unlocked.But i suggest you ask them on live chat before you buy it from them.

Dude, your firmware is corrupted. The solution is download the sonyericsson update service. The link is http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1231338335/Update_Service_Setup-2.9.1.10.exe. Download the application and install it. After you install it open the application and agree to the terms and service. Then choose your phone model. Then when it asks to connect your phone just take out the battery and put it back again then plug the USB cable to the phone while pressing the C Button. Then the application will detect your phone and check the phone's software. If your phone's has the latest softwares just reinstall it. It will take about 15 minutes to finish the update. When it finishes unplug your phone from the computer then take out and reinsert the battery and switch your phone on.

Take it into to the place that sold it to you and they should be able to help you, They probably have to program it for you ;)

I fixed this problem by using Sony Ericsson PC Suite to back up my phone data and then reinstalling the phone's software.

Call customer care and they will walk u thru the settings but call the toll free number from a different phone. And the tech support line willl assist further if basic custoemr care cannot assist you in the matter. The W580i LCD is extremely easy to replace. Probably one of the easiest I have ever done.
