all you gotta do is disconnect the device in the bluetooth menu and reconnect that way the lg shine will recognize the right ear piece. at&t wouldnt release a product if it didnt work. the only problem is that at&t didnt say it in there instruction booklet

unfortunatly you cant just lock one thing on the shine. but you can lock it all at once u can set it so if you turn it off everything is locked and only can be looked at with a password,

To perform a Master Reset

1. This will clear out user settings, profiles, etc from the phone. (This will delete all user files. Backup anything you want to save to another device. SD card, laptop, Dropbox.. etc.)
2. Go to the Main Menu
3. Select Settings
4. Select Reset Settings
5. Select Master Reset
6. A prompt All settings reset to default. Continue? will come up
7. Scroll to Yes then press OK
8. Enter 0000 for the Security Code then press OK Note that if the default Security Code has been changed, enter the new code.
9. The Resetting Progress will go through to 100% and the phone will be Master Reset
10. You will then begin setting-up your device again.. email, preferences, apps.. etc.
