A great solution is to hit up ebay. Look for a turbo cell phone sim card unlock chip. It's the footprint of a simcard, but wafer thin. It'll fit between your simcard and the connections in the att phone and will unlock it to use on your network.. very cool, very cheap.. awesome...I use one on an att phone with Telcel...seamless.

dismantle your phone and clean the contacts of the main board and the ribbon/flex cable,contacts of lcd to ribbon/flex.if it doesnt work.change the flex.

i have the same problem, only mine was spelt in beer. oppps :( but i know this also happens to my friends phone and she told me to take the battery out for about a night or so and see what happens!! who knows, we will find out together i guesssss!

change your speaker in your cellphone

i took mine apart and replaced it. it takes alittle while to figure out how to get into the phone but once u do its easy, the only advice i can give u is dont take the cover lense off cause u will have to replace it also.

You will need to contact your service provider for the PUK2 code. Do not try to guess, if you insert it incorrectly too many times it will deactivate your sim and you will have to buy a new one.

i have the same problem. i go through it everyday.
but when my phone does it. i either hold down the joystick, or the delete button, and it puts away the lines for a slight bit. be careful when sliding it down though, sliding it down hard can also cause the lines to show up.

I would like to add that all modern cell phones are GPS enabled and can be located as long as the cell phone is on. the sheriff's department will know this and search vigorously for your friend do not rate this i am hoping for a good ending to this.
