There really is no fix without taking it to your local store or calling tech support through customer service from another phone. Sounds like a manufacture defect to me.
What happened in the first place to make your lcd screen go out? there is a chance that the problem was not the screen, but the phone it self. did you drop it in water, or jus cracked screen?
youd need to call att and see if they can unlock it.There are some guidelines to being unlocked, but just answer a few questions and they should be able to unlock it.
try this :
This works on most mini electronic devices like cellular phones and degital cameras etc .
it sounds crazy .
Remove the back (or Cover ) of the phone( or Camera ), battery, and SIM if your phone ( or Device ) uses one , DIRECTLY
.
Then, with a q-tip (or something similar), dab the connection points (shiny, goldish) on the battery, SIM, and phone. This should aid in drying.
Finally, place all contents in a bag of uncooked rice (separately, do not put back together just yet). it sounds crazy , but it draws the moisture out.
It normally is working after just 7-8 hours, but I would wait 12 hours or even 24 hours before attempting to use (just to be sure).
beware the water damage, despite being dry now, will void any warranties. Also, the phone's hardware is now weakened and if you drop it, the green mother board and circuitry could shatter - so be more careful.
This does work on electronic devices aside from phones as well. Simply tailor it to your device. If you do not have a SIM (Verizon phones, cameras, all others), remove only the battery. If you have an iPhone/iPod or GPS and cannot remove the battery, simply make sure it is all the way off, then put it in the rice bag. All electronic devices react the same to the rice trick.

Turn off the phone.Take the battery and Sim Card out.Make sure there is no dust or dirt of where the Sim Card goes.Blow air (from your mouth) of where the Sim Card goes.Sometimes rubbing a soft pencil eraser on the Sim Card contact points can help. Then place the Sim Card back in the phone.Make sure it is in the right position; copper contacts facing downward.Put the battery back in your phone.Turn it on, and see if the smartchip rejected goes away. If not you may need to contact your Phone Provider’s Tech Support to troubleshoot and confirm that you may need a PUK reset code to register or you may need a new Sim Card, as they do fail from time to time.
my understanding is that you have to contact the service provider ie AT&T to unlock a sim card. IF you need the actual phone unlocked from the provider, there are a few options via the internet or ebay that you can use to get an ulock code
This is a common issue with the Moto Razor and can only be fixed by replacing a part. This phone uses different speakers for speaker phone and talk modes.....If you have an old razor laying around that is the same model, you can use its speaker if you believe or can prove it works......otherwise you can buy one for a few bucks. Here is a randomly selected site that sells these parts. 1. Remove the 4 plugs over the screws on the flip top and the screws themselves. 2. pop the top apart and up at the top you sill see where the speaker just sits in there. 3. Replace it the way you saw it in there 4.put it back together Now you can hear your friends without speaker phone!!! Good Luck!!!! ANd pls rate this post
sorry to say i think its toast but you can try taking out the battery and phone card cuz i droped mine in a glass of water and i had problems witht the screen at first but then i left it dry out also try putting the pieces in a bag of rice to dry it out but if it still doesnt work i think your just out of luck because the companies warnity doesnt cover water damage.
