Frigidaire electric stove

Hello friend, thank you for your post! If you had an over spill in the back of your Frigidaire oven it could have possibly shorted out the terminal block or control panel. I would recommend cleaning any access spill and contacting a professional to come out and verify no additional internal damage has been done to the appliance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

FFES3025LSA F10 ERROR

Hi Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post! Typically error code F10 indicates that your Frigidaire range (FFES3025LSA) has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Let's attempt reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, at this moment I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps!

Hi Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post! Based on the symptoms you are describing, it appears your Frigidaire range is possibly experiencing a potential wiring failure or a communication problem with the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). Try unplugging your range or flipping the household circuit breaker off first. It is good to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your range. If the issue continues, then I recommend contacting a professional to make a precise diagnosis.

I tried to use the self cleaner and it says the door is locked but it is not and F90 keeps coming up

The "F90" fault code is indicating a door lock motor mechanism failure. The control board is not detecting the lock motor operating/rotating. Try pressing the "Clear/Cancel" button. If the door does not unlock then it could have a faulty control or door lock mechanism. Here is the part to order.

Frigidaire electric range model FFES3025LSa

I have had the same problem. A repairmant has been out twice. I had an F30 code aalso which I believe is a temp sensor. However he replaced that and had to replace the control assembly to repair it. I have had it go out twice while under warranty and it just went out again. If you have a buzzing I would replace the control assembly.

Hi
Error F2 and F3 error means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the sensor is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue start by checking the oven temp. sensor for 1100 ohms, if the rating is more then that then check the control and door switch and replace the part that is bad. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

The handle to the stove has fallen off. How do I

hello. Get an assistant. Open the door about 1/5 until it stays open. With the help of the assistant lift the door straight up and off of the hinges. Put the door upside down on some towels or other padding on a table. Use a screwdriver to remove all of the screws. Then lift inner panel off. Now you will see where the handle screws are. Put the handle back, screw it on, then replace the inner panel and screw it down. With the assistant slide the door back onto the hinges. Done!

4 thumbs up please. thanks. Joe

F93 code (door not locking) tried to 'reprogram'

F90 Maximum oven door unlock time exceeded.
F91 Maximum oven door unlock attempts exceeded.
F92 Maximum oven door open time exceeded.
F93 Maximum oven door lock time exceeded.
F94 Maximum oven door lock attempts exceeded.

1. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check the wiring between EOC & Lock Motor Micro Switch.

2. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Replace the Motor Door Latch assembly if necessary.

3. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check for binding of the Latch Cam, Lock Motor Rod & Lock Motor Cam.

4. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check to see if Lock Motor Coil is open. If open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.

5. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Lock Motor continuously runs - if Micro Switch is open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.

6. (F92, 93 & 94) Check oven door Light Switch - if open, replace Switch.

7. If all situations above do not solve problem, replace EOC.

F90 is a door lock code, Try this...
unplug the range.
wait 1 minute.
turn the range back on,
then while holding in on the oven door.
start another self clean.
wait 2 minutes.
then cancel the self clean.

do not release the door until the door lock light goes out.

My Electric Frigidaire Convection Oven

I have a similar problem with my electric Frigidaire convection oven, which flashes ERR F9 and beeps after finishing a cleaning cycle; if you haven't had to have it repaired professionally by now you might try cutting the circuit breaker to the oven for a few seconds and then turning it back on. My oven takes a few minutes to reset, after the circuit is turned back on, but then will unlock the door and let me reset the clock and continue cooking as normal. . . until the next time I set the clean cycle.

The circuit board is showing a F10 on it.

    Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. F10 error in your Kenmore means temperature runaway. This issue is caused due to failed oven temperature sensor and/or the control board that has gone bad. To check what has gone bad you’ll need to take off the rear panel off the oven and test the sensor which is located behind this panel. If the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced, if the sensor tests fine then it is the control board that has gone bad and should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

    Thanks

Just installed Fridg. Gallery convection range

The PF code stands for "Power Failure". This code will appear whenever the power is disrupted to the range. Pressing the cancel button on the touch panel should clear this code. Now it sounds like there is either an electrical short on the range or a problem with your GFCI electrical outlet/breaker. There is an internal fuse that might have burned out inside the range to prevent further electrical damage or the ERC/touch panel may have shorted out. The problem is if you start tinkering with the range and it is brand new then you might void the factory warranty by trying to repair it yourself. I would leave it unplugged and call the manufacturer or the place that you purchased it from and describe your problem. There might be a recall on that model range or a problem that they are aware of. You also might want to try plugging a couple other appliances into the SAME electrical outlet plug that you used for the range and see if the breaker/GFCI trips. If it does then the problem might be with the electrical plug or circuit. A bad plug or circuit can cause damage to an appliance(like the range) so be careful with any other appliances you use to test the outlet because they could be damaged also if the circuit or plug is bad.
