bought a new hdmi cable

You mostly have to go through all the numbers to find one that works. Sometimes, with an off brand TV I have the best plasma i've ever owned right now. It's not a fancy brand name and the remote ( Comcast ) wont work for it. The comcast guy said that it would not work with my TV. Hope ite helps. You may not be able to pair the two at all.

I read another post where they added 1 to make the code 5 digits. Use 01331 and try it, it worked on my Directv Tivo remote and Proscan 32".

If it is only 2 month's old it should still be in warranty call the manufacturer they should be able to help you.

Blue screen usually means there is no video signal present.

First, check the input cables and the settings to make sure you are setup correctly... double check it.

Secondly, do a hard reset by unplugging the mains and let it sit idle with no power for at least one hour. Then, power it up again and go through all the setup steps.

If it still fails you should have it examined by a service tech. It could be something not so expensive to repair.

(I am guessing it to be related either to a power supply regulator or the video processing.)

There was hum when I first turned the TV on, then I followed these instructions (found it from other review) to fix the hum issue:
1. Turn tv on
2. Input mode should be tv
3. Turn volume to zero
4. With remote enter 9 8 7 6
5. A menu will appear on left side
6. Arrow down to backlight and with right arrow key move number from 81 to 83, press menu button twice,
7. Turn up volume and listen if hum is gone."
It works,no hum."

I think you have to change the settings in your HD box. Look on the diplay window of your HD box, if it says 480 there, thats where you need to change it so it will change then on your TV.

Did you accidentally hit the mute button on the remote

Perhaps you need to contact the entity at which you purchased the television.

There are many ways to hook up a dvd player to a tv! Audio/video cables, s-video, and component.

Second you need to make sure the tv has the correct source selected. your tv will say on the back which number source you plugged your dvd into. make sure these are the same!!

If you use the connections for DVD you must use all of them.If you are using the standard yellow,white,and red connectors connect them to the connections listed as video and not the DVD titled connectors. But my advise is get an up converting DVD player and use a HDMI cable to get the best picture with out having to brake the bank buying a Blue Ray. I once connected a DVD player to my TV in the same fashion before finding out it only gives you a purplish black and white picture. Up converting DVD players can be bought around 30 dollars and up. A 6 ft HDMI cable will cost around 15 dollars. This way you will be getting the full effect and great picture your TV can produce.

Hi, This is common if you are watching something in hdmi. You'll need a better cable to get rid of it. Please rate my answer. I hope this helps!

Hi have you tried going into the menu option using the telly controll and switching the hd mode on this should then allow you to use the xbox through hdmi cable
