For the Proscan 26LB30QD, first make sure that the input is set to TV. (Use the Input button on the TV (top button on the side) or remote with that function.) Then press Menu (second button from the top on the TV) and use the up/down buttons/arrows to select Setup Menu. Use the left/right arrows to move into the sub-menu. Select the line Tuning Band with the up/down buttons/arrows. Use the left/right arrows to change the signal from Cable to Air. Press Enter (the Input button on the TV) to save the setting. Go back to Setup Menu and find Auto Ch Search to scan for channels. Once you select this line, press Enter and wait for the scan to be completed. Press Menu to exit. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

The t con board o the tv is faulty. Normally in all the tvs bellow 32 inch the tcon board is integrated to the lcd panel. so you have to go for a new lcd panel. It would a costly repairing. www.electro-medical.blogspot.com

The drivers on those particular ports have been loaded yet. From desktop hit "start" then right click on computer then click on "manage". Nest click on "device Manager" when it opens up look for ports with yellow question marks and right click on them and trouble shoot them. Your diagnostic circuit is detecting a problem somewhere in the set and shutting it down to protect the remaining good circuits. Check the power board for fault it is usually the culprit. Look for capacitors with spewed up tops. They may also be leaking a oily like substance (electrolyte) and when replaced will fix it. If not then your problem could in many places. Look at the power board first and see if the voltages are coming off it if the capacitors are OK. If not then nothing else on the board can be fixed. You will have to order another. This depends on whether you have digital cable box or not. If you have a Digi Cable Box look for the red/white RCA output and connect this via RCA cable to the Red/White Audio input on your surround.

If just Basic Cable look for a red/white audio output on the back of your televison. connect this to the Red/white in on your surround. Could be called tv in or auxillary.

Check the speaker/s first. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis.
