RAM DIVIDED INTO HALF
It sometimes happen that for some Motherboard or in any computer hardware that has a factory defect. Pheriperals and other clip on hardware much probably does not work, or maybe it works but there's much more possibilty to have / make problem.
Updating the BIOS i think it may not help, try to install the other ram you been using before and if its read the same capacity then its probably your 2KVR has the problem.

Check your battery connections sometimes when you change battery the connectors get distorted and do not connect properly.
Also check all M/board power conections
Boots to press f8
I haven't encounter this one, but you may want to check whether your CPU extra power is plugged in. Also, seclude the problem by checking if it is the power supply or the video card that is causing the problem. Remove the videocard and use the old one and check if it passes through. How much power can your power supply give and what model is your videocard?
Turns off
If you have another computer you can download AVG, and make a bootable disk which could remove all infected files on your computer (The computer would boot off of the Anti-virus disk instead of windows, mount the hard drive, and scan it).

Another option is to reinstall windows all together (I don't recommend this unless nothing else works)
Depending on what you use your computer for (do you use any programs that only work in windows?), you could try installing linux, which is free, immune to viruses, and really fast. Ubuntu is a good option if you choose this route.

Let me know if this works for you!
No boot up, display, beep, or HD action
I am having the same issue. Clearing/reset the bios will get the board to boot up, but when turned off and started again the board will not boot. you will have to clear the bios again. The board seems to be rebooting itself continuously before it evens get to the POST.

Maybe your computer have some virus, that would interrupt some movements. If it is not the virus, try to replaced your keyboard and also the mouse.
Problem with ecs elitegroup P4M800PRO-M2
Hi,
Based on your post/description, it appears to be a hardware issue.
Check that you have a 300watt PSU (or higher) preferably with 24 pins (ATX v2.x).
Perhaps you can try to do an R&R, remove and reinstall everything especially the power connector, memory and video card (if add-on).
It may also be worth your while to reset the BIOS/CMOS to default and try again.
If problem persist, then perhaps it will be to your advantage to have the motherboard replaced.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turn up or should you need further information.
Good luck and kind regards.
DDR2 533Mhz 2 x 1GB
the DDR IS THE RAM , the processor and the ram and a good motherboard work and produce a beep,
remove the processor and the ram, get other working processor and the ram and try on your system, it works troubleshoot the removed processor and ram to find out the bad one and it does not work, your motherboard is dead.
