Whirlpool DUC600XTPQ6 Quiet Partner I
Yes this is a heater fault detection error. The unit may not be heating the water resulting in unsanitary dishes so the unit shuts down in this fault. Also the door may not have completely shut resulting in the heater not working, but everything else does (the heater common line is broken at the door switch. Clear the fault by entering diagnostics with this key dance heated dry, normal, heated dry, normal. All the leds will light, you can then press cancel and try another wash cycle. If fault occurs again, you must repair heater problem.

Gritty white film all over dishwasher and dishes
Another way to descale your dishwasher is to use vinegar. This is also very inexpensive. Put a cup of vinegar into the dishwasher and run it, allowing it to go through all cycles. I would turn the heated dry off.

My Whirlpool quiet partner 2 has not drained all
Hello- Start by checking drain line w/flashlight while in cancel/drain. See if water flows thru. Most slow or no drain problems in this series are caused by debris in strainer at bottom of tub. The pump works fine but can't pull water thru the blockage. Getting to this clog is the goal. Start with a phillips, 15 and 20 torx, large flat, needle nose pliers, 20-30 mins. of patience, paper towels, and nobody 'helping'. 1.--- Remove top and bottom racks. Clips are tricky- don't force, they will come off. 2.--- Remove phillips screw that holds feed tube at top center of tub. 3.--- Carefully unclip tube from tub and remove from rear feed at bottom. 4.--- Rotate feed clockwise until slots line up. 5.--- Remove plastic seal and hub. 6.--- Remove T-20 screws from accum. assy. and pull off. Strainer should now be visible- just a row of slots. 7.--- Remove T-15 screw and use large flat to carefully pry up by slots-these stick pretty good so wiggling helps. 8.--- Chopper should now be visible. This part has a plastic spring loaded cog driven by motor shaft. Use pliers to pull out of slot. Clean/ Inspect for worn cogs or broken spring. Re-install in slot, with cogs on motor. 9.--- Clean and re-install strainer. 10.--- Put the rest of the stuff back together in reverse order. If there was an impressive amount of blockage, this should solve all drain issues.
Please let me know if this info helps- have more if needed.- Thanks- ED
