Whirlpool GR2SHWXPB 21.7 cu.ft. Top Mount Refrigerator with External EZ Touch Water Dispenser: Black Questions & Answers
Water dispenser is not working and is to lose water is not coming out
Hello. My name is Peter. I am a former Sears Service tech. Your unit must be fairly old, which the older units work better. Hopefully your problem is a broken plastic arm dispenser P/N 2300629, Cost $22.05. It may also be the electronic control board P/N 230067. This board is no longer available. You my be able to find it on the internet even though Sears no longer carries the board.
How handy are you?
First unplug the unit. Next touch metal so you are grounded. Static will kill a board. There are 2 slots under the bottom frame. Using a flat head screw driver and a business card or something to protect
the surface of the refrigerator pop the dispenser frame off. Unscrew the retainers holding the board and other assemblies. Inspect the board for burn marks and the dispenser arm.
Call me if you need help 443-306-21362.
Simple fix if you are handy.

I have water pooling under my vegetable drawers,
The drain tube in the freezer may be partially clogged or melting ice build up on the floor of the freezer may be dripping into the fresh food compartment. Most freezers are frost free but there may be some problems beginning in yours (a faulty defrost timer, terminator, etc.).
You could remove the contents of the freezer and the plastic tray on the floor of the freezer. If you find ice there, remove it by thawing and remove the water. Check to make sure that the drain tube in the back hasn't become clogged with any debris, etc.
Reassemble and pay close attention to the temperature of both your fresh food compartment (34 deg) and freezer (0 deg) to see if it is getting warmer but the fridge continues to run. If so, if might be time to call a pro for repair.
Good luck!

Water is my refrigerator crispers and meat drawer
I dont know what the book is saying to do nor what refrigerator it is, but in my case the reason for collecting water is that the drain gets stuck with some nasty goo.
This drain so located in the back of the refrigerator and is used to lead away water condensing on the cooling element.
Take a long stiff wire and push it through or make a hook and try to pull the goo out (this is really gooey stuff but it rather does not stink).

Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator Model #106.50544001
It's time to replace the dual water inlet valve (the part the water line connects to). A bit of sediment or other fine object can get in the seat or the material itself can deteriorate and allow a tiny amount of water to pass up to the icemaker.

Whirlpool refrigerator model WRB322DMBM0 1 with ice maker only. How do I find and change the ice maker filter
The Whirlpool WRB322DMBM01 refrigerator model typically does not have a dedicated water filter for the ice maker. Instead, it relies on an external water filtration system or an in-line water filter that may be installed in the water supply line connected to the refrigerator.
Here's how you can check for and change the water filter for your ice maker:
1. **Locate the Water Supply Line**: Trace the water supply line that connects to the back of your refrigerator. The water supply line is usually a flexible plastic or metal tube that runs from the water source (such as a water pipe or faucet) to the refrigerator.
2. **Check for an In-Line Water Filter**: Look along the length of the water supply line for any inline water filters. These filters may be attached to the water line using compression fittings or push-to-connect fittings. They are typically cylindrical or rectangular in shape.
3. **Inspect the Filter**: If you find an in-line water filter, inspect it to determine its type and condition. Some filters have a label indicating the brand and model number, while others may have a date or indicator showing when it was last replaced.
4. **Replace the Filter (if Necessary)**: If the water filter is due for replacement or is visibly dirty or clogged, follow the manufacturer's instructions for replacing it. This typically involves turning off the water supply, disconnecting the filter from the water line, and installing a new filter in its place.
5. **Flush the System**: After installing the new filter, flush the water system to remove any air or debris. Run water through the dispenser or activate the ice maker to purge the system of any trapped air or loose particles.
6. **Monitor Performance**: Monitor the performance of your ice maker and water dispenser to ensure that the new filter is functioning correctly. It may take a few cycles for the water system to fully adjust to the new filter.
If you cannot find an in-line water filter connected to your refrigerator's water supply line, it's possible that your refrigerator does not have a built-in water filtration system for the ice maker. In this case, you may need to consider installing an external water filtration system to improve the quality of your ice and water.

How to replace freezer light
Delete
To replace the LED light in your Whirlpool WRSSDHW08 freezer, follow these steps:
- Unplug the refrigerator to ensure safety.
- Remove all the items from the freezer to give yourself more room to work.
- Locate the light cover inside the freezer. The LED light should be underneath this cover.
- Carefully pry the light cover off using a flat-head screwdriver or your fingers. Be gentle to avoid damaging the cover.
- Once the light cover is removed, you should see the LED light module. It may be held in place by clips or plugs.
- Disconnect the power supply to the LED light. This may involve twisting or pulling the plug from its socket.
- Remove the old LED light module from the freezer.
- Purchase a replacement LED light module from the Whirlpool website or an appliance parts store. Make sure to get the correct part number for your specific refrigerator model.
- Install the new LED light module by connecting it to the power supply and placing it back into its slot in the freezer.
- Replace the light cover by snapping it back into place.
- Plug the refrigerator back in and test the new LED light.
If you have any trouble replacing the LED light or if you are unsure about any steps, consult the user manual for your Whirlpool refrigerator or contact a professional appliance repair technician for assistance.

I have a whirlpool WRF40 IX all refrigerator. The ...
WHIRLPOOL WRF40 Solution to this problem!!! very easy ----I assume you have a problem with the control board switching on and of erratic when you pass setting 3 on the LED display, the designers of this fridge left the calculator at home that day, ask a technician to replace the Resistors 5, 6 & 7 (330 OHM 1/4 watt) on your electronic control board with 680 OHM 1/4 watt. This would solve the problems with this board, the LEDs will not be as bright as they were but still highly visible. Questions?
