It sounds like you investigated already. If I read this right, you can take off the kick plate and disconnect the fitting coming from the fridge going to the dispenser in the door. right? And if you hit the button while it is disconnected and water comes out then the line is frozen in the door. Check your freezer temp to make sure it isn't too cold and defrost the unit.. If it doesn't happen again then you are ok but if it happens again then you are either having a temp issue getting too cold in the freezer or there is a void in the door letting the line freeze. That would mean you need a door

bad water valve or the ice maker is cracked,if the valve doesn't work correctly it can let to much water into the ice maker causing it to overflow or the ice maker has a crack in it and the water leaks out.

nope no auto fix either the fan is working or not,check it for continuity with a meter to tell,the fan motor could have just quit from not using it for so long unless it went into defrost,that fan doesn't stay running all the time but the only way to tell is by checking it with a meter.

You have a bad water filter housing. Be sure to turn of the water to the refrigerator before replacing this part. Replace the filter at the same time.

try to remove all the ice in the bucket first and start all over again. the first bundle of ice could be the one making the problem. and then check the cold air vent towards the ice bucket. there should be cold air blowing to it to maintain the temperature in order for the ice not to melt.

after removing all the ice and inspecting if there is cool air coming out towards the ice bucket. let it run and observe it.

sounds like the water coming into the icemaker is spilling over or leaking into the ice despenser bucket.... check for ice build up or plugging of water chut into ice maker

Most of them sit on a rail if it slides out, feel at the front of the rail for a push in clip or just lift up & forward, it will be reasonably tight so be a bit firm, good luck.

I sure hope you got an awesome deal on that refrigerator. I would hate to think they charged extra for the mouse :-) Unfortunately, the ice bucket in this model does not just slide out like your other one did. You should be able to remove the front cover & flap of the ice bucket to reveal the ice maker and yes, it is bolted in. below is an exploded parts diagram of the ice maker. As you can see, the whole thing can be taken apart - of course you then have to put it back together. If it were me, I would toss it & replace the ice maker rather than try to disinfect/ sterilize the one in there. Good Luck!!
