F02 Error on Maytag Epic.
I just wanted to confirm stopgo's solution. A few notes/elaborations:
- Open
the front door of the washer, and run your hand behind the big, gray
rubber gasket. You might feel/see small items stuck there.
- If
you kneel in front of the washer and look along the very bottom edge,
you'll see 3 screws in a row. They are of the "torx" type. Unscrew them
and then jiggle out the bottom panel. Inside you'll see a large plastic
(off-white color) drain, and you can unscrew the 3-inch diameter cap
off it and pull it out. The backside of the cap is a filter. Clear it
out and put it back in. (We found a baby sock there).
Note
also that when you pull out the bottom panel and look inside the cavity
of the machine, there is a special manual for service technicians,
stuck on the inside wall. I pulled that out -- there were some
interesting/helpful information on that sheet telling you how to
troubleshoot problems, including checking the drain filter.
Funny
that the instructions for checking the drain filter cannot be accessed
until you open the bottom panel to check the drain filter!
Error code fh on maytag front loader MFW9700SQ0 have checked flow value!, pressure valve, cleaned internal filter and keeps setting code
i figured it out with my washing machine, take off the top lid (7mm 3 screws in the back) there is a black and burgundy sensor on the top left side, take off the black hose, turn the sensor clock wise 1/4 turn, lift out and blow into the part where the hose was connected to, (I did this while it was running to test it) sure enough it started draining... (its a pressure sensor i guess) and it still works so i took off the back of the washing machine and found that the black hose had a split in it. i had a compressing coupling so i cut out the bad part of the hose and coupled it back together now it works :)
p.s. the hose is about a 1/4 inch line and i think its surgical hose, and wash it out mine was filled with junk... hope it helps
Maytag Quiet Series 200 dishwasher doesn't start
The electronic control panel has gotten wet and needs to be replaced (about $200 for parts plus about $200 for service call/labor) I just had mine replaced about 10 month ago, stopped using the type of dishwasher soap I had based on Maytag Service staff recommendation, stopped using hot wash to prevent high condensation at the door and now its broken again and in need of a new control panel again. You may be money ahead to go buy a new dishwasher that does not have the plastic encased control panel at the top. My understanding is the control panels are poorly engineered and made for most dishwasher manufactures by one of the mega electronic/appliance companies.
