F02 Error on Maytag Epic. I have tried drain/spin setting, unplugged machine, waited, plugged in and tried again, it is empty, no visible suds. It says its a drain problem. HOw do I get to the drain on the machine? The drain hose is clear. thanks Hannah
I just wanted to confirm stopgo's solution. A few notes/elaborations:
Note
also that when you pull out the bottom panel and look inside the cavity
of the machine, there is a special manual for service technicians,
stuck on the inside wall. I pulled that out -- there were some
interesting/helpful information on that sheet telling you how to
troubleshoot problems, including checking the drain filter.
Funny
that the instructions for checking the drain filter cannot be accessed
until you open the bottom panel to check the drain filter!

My Maytag epic z leaks water from the bottom of the machine, not sure where its coming from.
If your front load washer is leaking, the following link explains how to access the interior cabinet and what to look for:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3576656-washer_leak__front_loader
In the majority of cases, leaks on front loaders are caused by a worn or loose door bellow. This is the gray rubber seal around the door opening. If the bellow has any rips or tears it must be replaced. The following link explains how to replace one (if required):
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3574186-installing_a_door_bellow_on_a_front_load
Replacment parts (if required) can be purchased on line at any of the following websites:
searspartsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com
These sites are reputable and offer great service with competitive pricing, so shop and compare. The first three sites on the list also offer helpful exploded view parts diagrams to assist you with properly identifying and locating parts.
Read through the link provided and inspect the washer cabinet thoroughly. It may help to add some water to the drum.
If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.
NOTE: Overloading the washer can cause premature wear on the door bellow. In addition, using the wrong type of detergent (i.e., other than HE), or using the wrong concentration of soap can cause premature wear to the pump seals.

f11 error code
The F11 code means there is an electrical with the Maytag Epic washer. This could involve wiring, fuses or a number of other issues.
Press the "Pause" button twice to stop the current cycle. Press the "Drain" button to remove any excess water. Try to run the washer again. If the F11 code repeats, shut the washer off and contact a service agent
.
The FH error code may be mistaken for the F11 code. The FH code signals a water supply issue and has nothing to do with electrical problems. Check the LCD screen to ensure you read the proper code

To remove the error display, press Pause/Off or Pause/Cancel twice.

Hope this helps.

no I have a code 5d what does that mean on A Epic Z front washer
Hi Error
code SD/5d means LONG DRAIN. This error appears when the drain time exceeds 8
minutes and the water valves turn off. After 4 minutes the "Sd" error
will be displayed, and then 4 minutes later the F21 error code will be
displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to clear the display. Please Check the
drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. If the drain hose if fine
then unplug the washer and check the electrical connections at the pump and
make sure the pump is running. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
To access the drain pump and filter remove the front kick panel and trace the
drain hose to the bottom of the washer, drain pump would be located there. If
you are not able to access it, then replace the back panel as well. Plug in
washer or reconnect power. If the issue is still not resolved then you would
need to replace the drain pump. Hope this helps...please post
back for further assistance. Daniel

FH SIGNAL MEANS ......... WHAT IS THE USE OF FH SIGNAL........ AND APPLICATIONS
The error code FH means no water is detected entering the machine which can be due to a faulty flow meter not registering the correct amount of water that has passed through it or the pressure is not tripping from the empty position to the full position when the correct water level has been reached. Your machine is definitely made by Whirlpool like other Kenmore and Maytag washing machine so they are basically the same and troubleshooting is then the same. The link below contains the detailed troubleshooting of this error code for a Whirlpool Duet and should be applicable to your machine.

sud error code
I found that mine was having a sud error. I removed the lower front panel and removed the filter. It was full of lint and loose change. I reinstalled the filter and haven't had a problem since. On a side note I found something interesting laying inside. A service tech guide wich stated to do exactly what I had done.

Maytag 3000 series washer F21
Just cleaned out the drain inside the Maytag 3000 and boy if that don't fix it nothing will. I think something was growing in there. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the help

after turning the washer on, after 10 min when it fills with water it shuts down and flashes FH Error. There is water inside the washer so I dont think its the water inlet. What can be causing this if not the lack of water. We tried it with only cold water and tried it with only hot water. Both result in FH. Its a 2009 model thank you,
May be a water pressure sensor problem.
This tells it when the tub is full.
