I did try all that, and it didnt work, on a 5050 acer built on a 3100 gabinet.

I think that the problem is that the cardreader chip is not well glued to the motherboard, that's why it gives you that error. If you try pressing certain points of the computer while booting, it miraculously stops giving that conflict error.

We should be payed back by Acer, as this is an project issue =P

the sound socket on the motherboard was nearly damaged, the only way can fix it is replaced the socket on motherboard by componnet level technician, otherwise you have to use USB port to sound out...

Hello,Update the video driver in your computer. You can go to the website of the manufacturer and get the driver from there but if you don't want to visit the website everytime your drivers get outdated, then you can install RadarSync to make everything automatic.David

I'm sure you have reseated/replaced the Memory mods? Have you thoroughly cleaned the fan, vents, heatsink? Have you done ANY hardware updates? Graphics? If you boot to Safe Mode any change? Have you tried a System Restore? Try another Cord/Charger with the Exact same power specs. Try removing battery and boot.

Try replacing the battery it might just have a dead cell or it just maybe no good

Are you trying to install Windows? If so, make sure you are using the original restore disks that came with your Toshiba. If not, your product key will be incorrect.
