Computer shuts down while loading windows
Try the Check Disk Utility. To run the check disk utility you will need a repair disc ora operating system disc. Put the disc in the cd drive and boot fromit. You want to get to the Dos Command Prompt (Black screen with whiteletters) and type the following command: chkdsk /rCheck disk will run well over an hour or two and you will notice thepercentages going from high to low, this is normal. Let it run tocompletion. Then reboot machine. If check disk fails to solve your problem you might have to reinstall windows.Try doing a Repair Install that way you don't loose your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs. In windows xp you get to the dos command prompt by selecting R for repair whenthe options appear. In Vista and Windows 7 you want to get to the recoveryconsole and look down at the bottom of the window for the Dos Command.

When i switch my laptop on it asks me to reboot . but when it reboots as soon as the windows blue screen comes up it turns off and then starts up its self and asks me to reboot again
David:Your computer is very unhappy with a piece of hardware or a software driver in the system. The windows blue screen is known as "the blue screen of death or BSOD" and will usually have a "Stop Code" like 0x0000008E or the suchlike with some address data shown below. Make a note of the stop code and then Google it up with the manufacturer of your box to see if there is an article on what the system is complaining about (video driver, etc.). You may have to recover the laptop. If it has a recovery partition there should be instructions on their website to recover your box. You can also try hitting f8 after starting boot process and if it gives you the startup menu: (1) try Last known good configuration, or if that doesn't work (2) Safe mode. If it boots in LKGC then whatever updates or changes were made don't need to be reapplied until you find out what killed the system---same if it starts in Safe Mode ---usually a driver issue or Microsoft Update issue if it starts in safe mode. ECS also has a support link off the above web site where FAQ and the ability to contact them is listed.:http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?CategoryID=3&DetailID=378&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=93&LanID=0
Can you pls help.where to find wireless button on keyboard to start wireless ?
Firstly, are you sure you have a wireless card installed in your motherboard? If you have then it'll all be turned on and off using Windows (I'm assuming that's what you're running!)You'll have to find the wireless utility driver software that you installed along with the card, (it'll be in 'programs' ) then you can turn it on from there.Regards,nicam49
