yes maybe the problem is in the Driver. to check the driver of your sound Go to my computer Icon then right click then choose properties then choose the hardware tab, then click device manager. This will show the hardware installed on your computer and the hardware that needs a driver that shows with a question mark colored yellow. hope this may help you

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this right click to install driver also click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have made the correct adjustments there click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can make adjustments there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar hope this helps

Hello jonathan, need to know the motherboard model.

Here is a tutorial and where you can start downloading your graphics drive .....http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx......You will also need the Catalyst..... http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/crossfirex-app-profiles.aspx........... which help with identifying your product...Once you have the product names go back and download the drivers......follow the videos and do the same for the sound device in device manager

This message ussually appears when the audio device drivers are not installed or not installed properly. Clarify me your motherboard or your sound card (in case of a separate one) in order to locate the drivers for you.

The VGA driver can be downloaded by using either the Graphics Card or Mainboard model number. The Processor doesn't need a driver to operate.

Use www.nvidia.com and go to driver downloads, then select the Graphics card information.
Now save and run the install.
