Honda powered. Am getting 115V out of one receptacle and one side of the 220 receptacle. The other receptacle is just 17V. Motor runs great. What's up??

If it's not a bad receptacle, then one of the generator windings is bad. A Honda is worth fixing, or at least it's worth selling to someone who only needs 115v. It _is_ worth fixing. Or, it _is_ worth selling ''as is.'' // Fixing, assuming it's not a bad receptacle, will involve returning it to the factory for repair, and it will involve either a new winding or an entirely new generator section. You can call them to ask how they will handle such a repair and get an estimate of cost.

Honda ES6500k2A generator will not start. Oil,coolant and fuse are OK. No sediment in bowl. cannot find any jet to clean. Starts with fluid, but stops. Float is working

Main jet on carb is clogged. Starts when you prime but then will shut off. Remove and disassemble carb taking pains to thoroughly clean the main jet area with cleaner. Check the holes that you have in the bolt that holds the bowl in place - they must be clear! Spray cleaner up the tube that runs into the bowl.

U How do you fix a Honda generator 1000i engine runs but no power at 120 out let.

if the motor engine is working and no power output then you need to check is there any power out from the generator motor directly (not in the power out put box I hope you already checked in there) generator motor coils could have busted due to over loads. so even the engine is rotating the generator it can't produce any volts.

How many watts does it need to run the airconditioner. Is a honda 3000 good enough

You can check the AC unit, it will tell you how much electricity it needs. Likely 15 or 20 amps. That's about 1500 or 2000 watts. What does your generator supply?

Old Honda eb1500x is putting out low voltage but engine seems to run fine. Ideas for testing and fix?

Couldn't find anything on that model number other a control box.Assuming your in the USA output frequency would 60 hertz under load so 65 hertz would be find; although, engine is running close to 3900 rpm when it should be around 3750 rpm unloaded which would be 62.5 hertz. As the output voltage being low it is probably the AVR (automatic voltage regulator) that is the problem.

If you can access throttle linkage to the carburetor, slow the engine speed to idle before turning off. As mentioned in the previous answer ... turning off the fuel valve and letting it run dry is good if you are not planning to use it real soon.
