Canon i320 amber light flashing will not print

I believe that 7 amber flashes refer to a cartridge error. Check that the cartridge is seated correctly.

Printer prints blank paper.

It appears that the print head nozzles are blocked, it is difficult to clean, it may be cleaned with a ultrasonic cleaner. Most likely you will need to buy a new print head, these are not cheap and you may find it better to buy a new ink jet prnter.
Inkjet printer heads tend to block up if used infrequently, inkjet printers should be run/used every several days to prevent nozzels blocking. If this is your case and you only want to print black & white, I suggest you get a laser printer. It is cheaper to run and don't suffer from infrequent use.

Cannot find information on waste ink absorber for Canon i80

The waste ink absorber collects any spilt in from the head and stops it leaking out or sitting in the bottom of the printer casing. The printer is telling you that the one in yours in nearly full. You know have two options:

1. Replace the waste ink absorbers and reset the counter (will require taking the printer apart)
2. Reset the counter only (you run the risk of ink leaking out)

The waste ink absorber for the I80 can be got quite cheaply if you google about.

You can reset the counter by:

1) Close the print head cover, and turn off the printer. While pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press
the Power button. (Do not release the buttons. The LED lights in green to indicate that a function is
selectable.)
2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (Do not release the Power
button.)
3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button 3 times, and then release the Power
and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights
alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.) During initialization, the LED blinks in
green.
4) When the LED stops blinking and lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button 4 times.

Hope that helps

Canon pixma 1200

well with canon ip1200, its very easy to solve. And here it goes -- turn on the printer and place the paper to the feeder in order to print.now try to print a file by giving print command.now it will show that "waste ink absorber full" error. At this situation, disconnect the power cable attached at the back of the printer.Keep holding the power button for 5 to 10 seconds.without releasing, turn on the printer and when the power lid glows then on release the power button.turn the printer on again..now the error does not appears again.you can print your file easily.
but this is not a complete solution bcoz everyday in order to print, you have to bear the same procedure.

Printer canon i320

Here is the Cannon Service Tool... you should be able to reset the printhead error using this. I've never used it myself, but it is the only fix other than a service call that I know of.
Cannon charges almost $100 for this tool... here its free.

No colour printing

The problem with Canon printers sometimes is that, if you do not use original cartridges and put compatible ones, the printer will not recognise them. Even if you refill the originl ones the printer will still think that they are empty due to the microchip that every cartridge has. Try using original inks. If you already used original inks, then another reason might that the ink tubes have benn blocked because of dried ink if you haven't used your printer for a long time. Try performing a deep clean through the printer application.
Hope that helps

Looks like either a roller/feeder problem. Since it is under warranty, the best solution would be to simply replace it , instead of trying various fixes..

Service error 5C00

Service error 5C00 might indicate the purge system.

The "rattling sound " is probably coming from the (gears of-) socalled purge unit. May be one ( or both) of the ink tanks is not properly put back in again,or the printhead-lock is not locked. and the purge system is blocked.

Remove the ink tanks and remove the printhead, closw the printhead-lock, close the printhead cover, switch the printer of, switch the printer on again. If the rattling sound is still there, than you might have an expensive problem to be solved.
If the rattling sound is gone, there is probably something wrong with the printheadlock.
