I keep getting an error

there is a take up sensor at the back of the paper tray. If that is broken off or damaged then the printer will think there is always a piece of paper in the carrier and generate the error. with the cost of new printer today, you are better off going and buying a new one. Dell has color laser printers for less than $300.00.good luck.

When turned on printer starts to feed paper and then stops making loud beep and flashing green which chages to three orange flashes and a long green

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer ONLY WHEN PROMPTED, to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels. Activate head cleaning before a test is taken. Sometimes it is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the PC command or can be an issue with ink drying or poor ink cartridge contacts

Hi, my canon i80 printer wont feed paper through

There is only one solution to the problem with the i80. Here it is: there is nothing jammed. This problem is the result of the top of the printer being pushed down, effectively crushing the paper feed path by a sixteenth of an inch, right at the center of the machine. Likely this is the result of being carried in a travel bag full of other stuff, like the power supply, or from things being placed to rest on top of the printer. The solution is to open the two top covers, to grasp the main steel bar that runs the entire width of the printer with a pair of long-nosed pliers and to simply apply upward pressure. This will, in turn, lift a black plastic paper guide that has been pushed down into the path of the paper by the slightly bent metal. The printer will happily feed paper after this relatively simple fix. Mark the problem up to bad industrial design (though the mechanisms of the printer are otherwise ingeniously well thought out).

Canon i80 portable printer has not been used for 2

Hi there maximum time we found it is a the head problem. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. For resolve the problem please follow these.

Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over. Some how if its not come then Unplug the printer & Manually slide the carriage. Now Remove the ink cartridges from the print head & Use wet warm cotton swab or use alcohol to thoroughly clean the print head. Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab. After finished it make the head dry then fix it back. Now Try to print something now
If that does not work then follow the next step.

Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.
