The processor is usually underneath the fan of the motherboard. Just take off the fan and it will show you a flat metal which you have to loosen its hook or hinge to be able to unlock the processor. It is a small square chip where the type of processor is written on it.

Should you need assistance, please let me know your model of motherboard.

Unplug mains from wall / remove install ram / remove / install video card if you have one.

If stil no go try another monitor.

You should restart the pc 1st, once it show the bios, hit DELETE key to enter bios setup.
Once there check, go to the advanced chipset feature. Highlight the onboard gpu then press enter. There should be the option to disable it.

If you are using Windows 7, Live products are not supported.

Barebones don't have product lines. It seems like you want the product number of the motherboard. EliteGroup is ECS and PCChips. To find the number, open the case and look on the motherboard. there will be a silk screening of the model number somewhere on the board

A really unique MB since Each DIMM slot can accommodate DIMMs up to 512 MB in size, although both DDR and SD-RAM are supported, but any one at time, i.e. one among consisting of a bank of 2 DIMM slots(blue pair & black pair having the pairs 2 slots each) for DDR or 2 DIMM slots for DDR or SDR memory cannot be used at the same time. Thus the board supports either 1 GB of PC133 SDRAM, or 1 GB of DDR sdRAM, but not both at the same time.

Make sure you are running at the correct resolution for your lcd screen.Contact the manual to see what the resolution should be. Also, you may want to get the latest Nvidia drivers.

tbley, Each time you have altered the settings in your bios, did you exit and save. You have to save and click "YES"

download the EXACT bios for that motherboard and flash the bios

Find out who makes the motherboard for your computer and visit their website. They will have detailed instructions for you.

Did you try the other port of your motherboard. Do not use the front USB socket of your computer, you need to plug i directly to your motherboard ports. If the same things happen. you need troubleshooting.

Try uninstall and reinstall of usb drivers

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers
To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.
Click the Hardware tab.
Click the Device Manager button.
Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node, and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
Restart the computer, and then reinstall the USB controllers.
Plug in the removable USB storage device, and then test to make sure that the issue is resolved.

It seems that the battery is optional and external.

This is an excerpt of manual (you can get it here):

The system provides you an optional battery with two connectors (3 & 4-pin) on one side to the DeskNote and the other side to the AC adapter.

1. Use the 3-pin connector cable to connect between the DeskNote and battery.
2. Plug the AC adapter's connector into the 4-pin connector of the battery.
3. Connect the power cord to the AC adapter and then to a wall outlet. "

It is still trying to load the drivers for your old system board which apparently are not compatible with your new board. You need to boot from the XP CD and repair your existing Windows installation. It should redetect all components and install the proper drivers for the motherboard components.

It is better to use the same brand.
These to brands might work together, you don't know until you put them in your computer and test it.

Take the CMOS battery out and hold down the power for 30 sec, put the battery back and restart the computer.
