Anchor will not go down but will go up
I have two deckhand anchor units. I ve tested both on battery, and both went up. I replaced switches, and I get nothing, but I heard a light click coming from unit. Is the motor bad?

I left my minn Kota I pilot turn on will this be harmfull
Hi. I believe you are referring to a Minn Kota with i-Pilot GPS? If you forget to turn the power button off and the motor was not running (meaning the prop was not turning), your motor should be fine. Ultimately, if left on for long enough, it will drain the batteries and eventually turn off. This is not harmful for the motor.
For safety reasons (yourself and others), it's always best to disconnect the motor from the power source when not in use.

I have a Minn Kota Traxxis 80, the proble is the extending handle free slides and is an irritation. Is ther a way to tighten the sliding extension.
Yes, there is a way to tighten the sliding extension on the Minn Kota Traxxis 80 handle. Here are the steps to follow:
- Locate the set screw: Look for a small set screw on the side of the handle where the sliding extension meets the stationary part of the handle. This screw is typically located on the underside of the handle and may require a small tool to access.
- Tighten the set screw: Using the appropriate tool, tighten the set screw by turning it clockwise. This will secure the sliding extension in place.
- Test the handle: After tightening the set screw, test the handle to make sure it is secure and does not slide freely. If necessary, adjust the set screw again until the handle is secure.
- Reassemble the handle: Once the sliding extension is tightened, reassemble the handle by replacing any covers or trim pieces that were removed to access the set screw.
Remember to use caution when working with small screws and tools, and to follow any safety guidelines provided by the manufacturer.
