HP Premium C309 All-in-One Printer error message "C2FE0065"

I have an HP Premium C309 All-in-One Printer. When I turn the printer on, the screen goes blue with "C2FE0065" listed on the bottom. Then the screen goes black and all the lights start flashing. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I had a similar error (not the same! C2FE0100), and cleared it up with the following procedure:
1) While the HP logo was displayed on the screen, I unplugged the printer. 2) Plug the printer back in. 3) Immediately open the printer so you can see the ink cartridges. 4) Press the power button at least once. If yours is like mine, you see the error just by plugging in the printer, but it takes a minute or so. Pressing the power button for me just caused it to restart the boot sequence where I could get the error again. 5) Wait a couple of minutes. You should see the ink cartridge carrier move back and forth several times, and the screen will display a message telling you the ink access door is open (or similar). 6) I let it move the ink cartridges around for several minutes, but this probably isn't necessary. 7) Close the printer back up. 8) About a minute after closing the printer, it told me that I shouldn't turn it off by unplugging it, and that I should use the power button. 9) I pressed the power button once, and it shutdown. 10) I pressed the power button once, and this time it turned on without any error messages.
I was able to print a photo via bluetooth from my phone, and a short document from my computer, so it seems to be working OK.

Turn off the machine, unplug the power cord from the back of the machine, remove the ink cartridges (lift the lid up at the base of the control panel), wait 2 min, plug the power cord back in, press the on button, wait until the printer prompts that the ink cartridges are missing, then replace the ink cartridges. If this doesn't fix the problem you may have to re-prime the ink lines to clear the error. You can find instructions for this at http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/hp-photosmart-ink-system-failure-1/.

1. Plug the printer in the wall socket directly (Don't use the surge protector 2. If the issue shows up again, take the printheads and the ink cartridges out and clean them with a clean cotton cloth or paper towel and make sure that there is no ink as well in the copper contacts of the print heads and the the place where the printheads fix in the printer, there as well there are some copper contacts, so clean them as well with the que tip (Little bit moisten it)... 3. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer while it is turned on and keep the ink and printheads out 4. Wait for 2 mins and then plug the power cable in... 5. Then once the printer shows that printheads missing, put the printhead in and then the cartridges 6. If the issue still doesn't gets resolved then follow the step given below Take the printheads assembly and the ink cartridges out of the printer While printer is On unplug the power cable from the back of the printer While the printer is unplugged, press and hold # & 6 on the printer together for 30 secs and after 30 secs while holding those buttons, plug the power cord in the back of the printer After plugging back release the buttons after 6 secs And then when printer asks for printheads and cartridges then put them back in
If the issue is still there then check the dates written on the printheads, if they appear to be in warranty please call Hp Tech Support and check if they can replace it but make sure you don't mention that you're using refilled ink cartridges (if in case you are using) Thanks and regards (All the best!!)

my HP photosmart premium will not print black

my HP photosmart premium will not print black only, the page comes out blank. I cleaned the print head by soaking it in hot water, per an faq I found on the internet. when I put it back together, it printed the black only from a text page from Word just fine. Now, a few days later it will not print black only again. I was trying to find the part on the HP website for the print head, but it keeps kicking me back to their first page to enter my model or serial number....

Seems like the ink you are using is bad. It is thicker than what it is supposed be. If you are using HP ink, make sure it is not expired. If you are using a refilled ink or remanufactured ink cartridge, buy from someone else, not where you bought it last. You will need to clean printhead again. Also, to avoid this problem in future, the issue may be that there is too much ink gnk inside the printer. Where the printhead should sit on standby, the ink waste builds up. Clean that area with a butter knofe or plastic knofe. You may not have that issue of drying ink come back for a very long time.

Hi

Try the following steps:

1. Connect the power cord of the printer directly to the wall jack (make sure its not connected to surge protector.
2. Turn the printer On, Press the "Setup" Button, go to "Network", then go to "Restore network defaults", press "Ok" on that.
3. Printer would ask you if you want to restore or not, select "Yes"
4. After that in the same menu (Network Menu), go to wireless test report and print it.
5. If it still shows that the wireless radio is not functioning then only move to next step.
6. Press and hold * and # together on the numeric keypad of the computer.
7. Printer would ask you for a special key combo, enter 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
8. It would open the support menu. Press ok on that.
9. Then scroll to resets menu, select "Semiful Reset"
10. Once you would press ok on this, the printer would go off.
11. Wait for 2 minutes and then turn the printer "On"

I hope this would resolve the issue that you're facing.

All the best!!

Regards
