Hi,
You would not find manual for this model online for download. For this, you need to call Amana or write an email to them for the same. One of my clients got the manual via email.Contact information is :-
http://amana.com/custserv/contact.jsp
Write an email and i am pretty positive, they would revert with the manual.Unless, revert to me and i would ask one of my friends working with Amana to upload the manual for you, however could take few days.
Let me know, once you email them and tell me about the update.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
Mold behind vents
Fill a spray bottle with a 25% bleach to 75% water and spray the front coil which will allow it to circulate with the air, you may want to spray some in the vent before hand with the a/c off. You can take it out and wash it with a water hose if its really bad.
A.c. isnt blowing cold air.
One needs to concider that the 2 way valve might not be switching. This if siezed will give you that senario. Possibly locate the valve and carefull put line power directly on 2 way solonoid and hear if it activates. If it does, then start looking at the board being faulty.
I'm not getting any code after installing a control board for my Amana ptac?
Does the power light come on?
If yes, then you can do a reset as below:
There is a master switch on the bottom left of the control board. Slide that to 'off' position.
Then press the hot and cold switch/key together and then slide the master switch back to 'on'.
Please put your response/observation here if that does not work or there is power light as asked on top.
Thanks
