MY WASHING MACHINE FLOODED MY KITCHEN, I TURNED OFF THE MACHINE BY THE MAINS & OPENED THE DOOR BUT WATER GUSHED OUT SO I QUICKLY SLAMMED THE DOOR SHUT & NOW THE DOOR KEY LIGHT JUST KEEPS FLASHING BUT WONT LET THE MACHINE START UP, BEEPS 5 TIMES & THATS IT & IF YOU PRESS ANY BUTTONS IT BEEPS AGAIN. ALL OTHER BUTTONS, PROGRAMS ETC LIGHT UP OK. I UNBLOCKED A THICK BLACK PIPE AT THE BACK OF MACHINE WHICH HAD LIKE A PING PONG BALL IN IT & THERE WAS BITS OF MATERIAL ETC.
Have you checked the pump filter ?

Close your faucet valve & unscrew your hoses to check screens on hoses & machine. Clean out well. Water from faucet shd be in good pressure. Refit, check for leaks. If this is not the problem change your inlet valve, it is easily done.

This is a motor problem the end light flashing 5 times indicates error E50. The motor has either got wet or has just failed i would suggest trying to dry it 1st but i would suspect the motor has gone down to earth usually having to replace it. The part no. DST1246179079 Motor aprox £195 but shop around you may find it cheeper.

Could still be the water inlet valve. What you need to do is pull the washer out where you can get to the valve and the plug. Unplug the inlet valve and start the washer and when you start it as normal check the volts of the plug and see if its 110 if it is you know that the valve is getting power to open but not,replace the valve. If you dont get any voltage then it could be the relay or control board

Yes it is ment to be in there, ive searched the internet and everyone having the same problem with a ping pong type thing, do not remove, as it used as a valve for the drain.

I DONT HAVE A PUMP AT FRONT ON THE MACHINE, BUT I PUT MACHINE ON THE SIDE & CLEARED A THICK BLACK PIPE AT THE BACK OF MACHINE WHICH HAD A WHITE PLACTIC THING WHICH HAD HOLES IN AND ALSO HAD LIKE A PING PONG BALL SO ASSURE THIS WAS THE PUMP. MACHINE IS FLASHING 5 TIMES WITH THE DOOR KEY LIGHT KEEPS FLASHING
