The Katana comes in 3 flavours - 600 F and 750 F and GSX1100.
I was hoping to find an owners manual. Switch normally has 3 positions, Off, Parking Lights (remove key) and Power On (key locked in place). It's likely a broken piston ring, worn out piston rings, or faulty valve seal(s)... However, it could easily be some other thing... like crankcase ventilation valves, lines or hoses...cracked block... I know.. I'm not being much help... but, a good mechanic can probably zero in on the problem...
