I would think that if the fuse started blowing after the pump was put in then I would say that either the wiring is wrong going to the pump or the wires are grounded causing a short. Check the wiring loom to make sure it did not get pinched when putting the tank back in.

SOURCE: Fuse location for headlight

There is a fuse, but only for both headlights, not just one. The headlight bulb must be out. Or the wire connector came off. Take care and God Bless.

SOURCE: PROGRAM KEYFOB FOR HYUNDAI SANTA FE

This is from the factory service manual of your car:
There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote. Translation you need the dealer to do this.

SOURCE: 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. Won't start. no sound

Start from scratch.
Does the battery have 12 volts across the terminals? If yes, then does the starter click when you turn the key? If no, replace the battery.
If the starter clicks when you turn the key, but the engine doesn't crank, replace the starter.
If no click, then check for power at the starter solenoid.
If there is power at the solenoid, but no click when you turn the key, check the starter relay. If none of this fixes your problem, you may want to have your mechanic check for broken or corroded wires

SOURCE: how do you change a fuel pump on a 2002 hyundai

You will need to remove your seat in the back of the car. The pump is under the drivers side rear back seat. You will have to remove the floor cover. You should see a panel. remove panel on floor and you will see the top of the fuel pump. There may be a lock ring holding it in which you would move counter clockwise and then the pump should come oute63c077.jpg

2005 sante fe a/c blows warm air when idling @ stop light - works ok at higher speeds

You need to recharge your a/c, and check its fuses. It's not blowing cold air at all, even when you are driving, because when you are driving it is blowing in the cooler moving air from outside your vehicle.

Ecu fuse blew and was informed to change the fuel pump truck wouldnt start without a new fuse, but when i run it over 60 the truck boggs down getting ready to stall? any help? on what it could be?...thanks...

It may help to tell what engine size????? So......did you replace the pump? Whats the fuel pressure? Did you replace the filter? Maybe the pump, but its all guesses with out you telling us the whole story. If the pump is blowing fuses, thats your first clue, Replace it.

03 hyundai santa fe blows ecm fuses after car is warm up and you

There is obviously a short circuit somewhere. Best solution, take vehicle to nearest Hyundai Service Center, pay diagnostic fee. They will give you an estimate of repairs (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.). This way you'll find out EXACTLY what the problem is and what's required to fix it.
