I sent to an auto parts place and bought it and casually asked the clerk where it went. He almost offered to go out into the parking lot to help me. He told me where it went, but then I forgot. They ran out of manuals (handy and cheap), but I got one on order. PS: Kia used the same one and it costs either the same or less. Back then there really wasn't much difference between Kias and Hyundais. You could call up one of the nationally known auto parts suppliers and simply ask the guy over the phone and tell him you'll come down and pick it up if he has one.

Even perfect electronics have trouble making an engine run properly if the mechanical parts aren't similarly in good order and when an engine obviously isn't right but nothing obvious is wrong it is time to check the less obvious, in particular check for dribbling injector(s) and bad spray patterns and of course fuel pressures.

It is also worth carrying out a cylinder leakage test (compression test is inadequate) to ensure the intake valve seats aren't leaking.
