SOURCE: blower control switch

I had this same problem and it turned out to be a simple fix,my problem was the hot wire contact on the blower itself.Fix was cleaning the contact w/sandpaper and replacing the part on the hot wire that connects to it.

SOURCE: blower control switch

do have any power on either wire going to the blower. the power runs from the fuse block through a relay, to the blower, to the resistor block and finally to the dash control. of you have power only on one side of the blower replace the blower. if you have no power at the blower replace the relay.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: change drivers side door panel on 94 chevy p.u.

unscrew the inside handle and pop of the window arm....then slowly work your way around the panel poping loose the plastic rivits on the inside edge...lift panel upwards to unhang it from window lip...thats the plastic panel...the metal panel inside that is pretty self explanitory..unscrew and take off the clips holding the controle arms to it and remove...do use caution as parts are very sharp and will slice your fingers and hands.

SOURCE: Where is the dimmer switch located in a 94 Chevy

It is the thumb wheel just to the right of the headlight switch. Runs up and down. Also just below air vent.

Chevy s10

With the blower speed set to high and the key on tap the blower motor with the handle end of a large screw driver. If the blower starts to work than replace it.

If it still won't work check for power on the purple wire (i think its purple) and make sure the ground is good. If those two check out fine replace the blower motor.

If there is no power than you will need to check fuses and/or the blower motor resistor.

94 Grand Am SE 3.1. The blower fan barely works. I replaced the fan motor and fan resistor. I also read a post that said take out blower and clean front of evaporator. Well, I tried this but couldn't...

If the airflow is normal sometimes then that most likely eliminates blockage in the evaporator as the culprit. If it were blocked the problem would be continuous, not intermittent.

If you're sure that all of the duct system actuators, and valves (doors) that redirect airflow to the desired vent are working correctly then I suggest that you check the controls and wiring.

The blower switch may be faulty, or have loose or damaged wiring.
