Whenever the thermostat of the acu turns on the rmp drops down
Are you turning on the compressor (as in turning on the air conditioning) or just the vent? If you're turning on the compressor and the revs drop, that's normal. The compressor is driven by an engine belt, and when it is turned on, it puts additional drag and load on the engine, causing the revs to drop.
I'll do some digging and see what else I can come up with. Do you realize that throwing an "inappropriate" rating on the answer makes my ratings average on here take a decent hit and also harms my chances of getting paid on Premium solutions? It kind of sucks because an inappropriate rating would be justified if I told you to refill your washer fluid tank or something like that. If the info wasn't complete to begin with, it's hard to see how that is justified.
Anyhow, I will think it through and do some digging and I'll get back to you on this shortly.
