If ur car is CARBURETED, follow the fuel line from the carburetor to the pump, usually a mechanical fuel pump would be in the side of the engine block.
If ur car is fuel injected, the pump is in ur FUEL TANK!

Have an old Honda....1989. Noticed today there is
It can be - look at the dipstick for the oil . If you see water in the oil or if the oil looks like coffee with cream, then you have a BIG problem, as it is quite possible you may have a bad cylinder head gasket , cracked block, or warped head, although there is the small possibility you have an oil cooler built into the radiator. To determine this, look closely at your radiator. If you see small lines coming off the side, then they will be either transmission cooler lines or oil. If your car has a manual transmission, then those lines may be oil filled, as only an automatic transmission would have lines to the radiator.. A pressure test of your radiator is in order, and your local shop can do this - as well as advise you as to whether or not you need what replaced or repaired.

there there they probably just are not as easy to see as they once where. here will be a pointer on the timing cover and there will be four notches on the balancer, three close together and on space a little further than the other three. At one time the center notch in the three grouped together was red.
The balancer may need to be cleaned a little with some sandpaper to make them visible but they should be there.
The other think that comes to mind is there might be a rubber plug in the transmission under the distributor. Some of the older honda engines had this, I don't remember of hand which ones. When you remove the plug you will see the notches and timing marks. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

The mixture of of anti-freeze/coolant to water should always be 50-50, or 50% anti-freeze/coolant and 50% water, and the mixture should not exceed 75-25 or 75% anti-freeze/coolant and 25% water. If the mixture is more that 75-25 then the anti-freeze/coolant will not function properly in the cooling system and it can actually cause the engine to overheat, and if the mixture is below 50-50 then the anti-freeze/coolant protection will be deminished.

It is located IN the engine. To replace you need to remove the engine. Do it ASAP. Oil starvation will result in bearing replacement and on that engine it is costly if you can find bearings at all. Post if you need help. It is possible that the bearings have been damaged already hence the low oil pressure since bearings tend to wear out before the oil pump fails.
