AFTER ABOUT 15 MINUTES OF DRIVING 3RD GEAR GOES

I agree completely with Michael Masters with one acception: Some faults, like erratic speed sensor input to the Body Control Module can cause "Limp-In Mode". Also, there are some ABS and/or Traction Control codes that can cause this. these types of codes CANNOT be retrieved for FREE using the generic OBD code readers at the auto parts places. These will require a full computer NETWORK scan using a scan tool that can access body controls, IPC data, ABS data, etc. The "free" way is worth a shot, but if they tell you there are no codes, then you need to take it to a professional technician that can provide a FULL scan.

2000 Chrysler T&C 3.8 LTR

Hi there,

It could be any number of things from bad cable connection, bad earth, faulty voltage regulator, incorrect drive belt tension.

One quick way to identify the faulty circuit, is to have your vehicle's computer read for Fault Codes by an approved Chrysler Service agent (they will have the diagnostic equipment) - your vehicle OBD computer monitors these functions and the problem should be found immediately.

Neither the front nor the rear blower moters run.

First lets deal with front blower. If all fuses checked, there should be a resistor block (which when it goes usually leaves you with high fan only) for fan located on firewall, under the hood on passenger side behind the front strut mount area. It measures 1-1/2" x 3" approx, and will have a wire connector on it. It usually pulls out, with a bit of a fight. Disconnect your battery neg(-) just to be safe before you do. Replace it, that should cure front blower problem. (about $20 at autoparts store) Ask them for "blower motor resistor pack) very common item so they should know what your talking about.

The cloth cover of the 'deck' (ceiling) is

It depends on the damage. You can use adhesive used in sofas to glue the ceiling. Check also if the upholstery on top just got loose from the trimmings (it should lock it in place) one the edge of the ceiling. If it would look messy or will may not work, you may need to purchase one.

Off the web it is unlikely that you can get one. I have not searched that well to be honest but I would suggest to check first your local junk yard and check similar cars that are still good inside. There are also shops that specialize with interiors you may have yourself made one or have it fixed if ever it is beyond you.

Hi, I have a 98'

A lot of this depends on your OPENER. Typically, current openers use rolling code technology.... The process is to "invite" from the opener... Get a ladder and a light, read the directions on the opener, usually you press a button for a short duration, THEN press the button on the remote sender....

When van is started,it clicks

After it clicks 2-6 times and then starts, does it crank really slowly or fast? If it is cranking slowly, it sounds like you're battery is weak and should be replaced. If it is cranking fast, then your starter is going bad and should be replaced.
