What I am going to ask you might sound like a simple question, but I do not mean to offend, but are you aware what code it is throwing up, as you did not state in this emotional post ???
Needs oil pan gasket -
Anyone order in there... just p
osition the oil pan and secure with the oil pan-to-engine bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 124 inch lbs. (14 Nm). Do NOT overtighten the
bolts, as this will damage the oil pan, causing a leak.
Hope helps (remember rated and comment this).
Where is taillight fuse on 1989 buick lesabre
I believe that model has TWO fuse boxes. One in the glove box and one under the hood on the passengers side. Do you have the owners manual??? It should show where it is. Otherwise, try your local public library for a repair manual on that model Buick.
Car sat for 3 yrs after crate engine installed and
sounds like cross fire or overheating, check and see if your spark plug wires are touching, also check them for cracks in the wires, next run the engine to the point of where the problem starts, listen. you might just figure the problem out from there. In my experience though i've noticed that those engines will miss and sputter when they start to overheat
My car wont' turn over, or even click. Batter is
did this problem just occur or has the car been siting a while? check all connections from terminals to the starter to the coil to the distributor. see if you can turn the crank by putting a socket on the front of the crank case and try turning it by hand to rule out seizing of the motor.
Car turns over as if the battery is dead but
If the starter is dragging,or have problems turning the engine over,or just does not do anything, then the starter is the problem, unless there is no voltage from the ignition getting to the starter.
1989 buick lesabre limited. i have no power to the
The fuse box is located by the drivers side.
Open the door and look on the soide of the dash board there is a turnbolt that removes the side panel. The fuse box is under this.
The heater core is like a small radiator inside your dash. The coolant flow through it can be restricted by corrosion. The lack of flow of coolant through the heater core will result in a lack of warm air inside the car. Flushing out the heater core may help. If not, you will have to replace it.Check the heater blower motor.
Trouble Shoot Heater/Air Conditioner Blower Motor. An electrical motor is used to push air
through the heater and air conditioner system. If this electric motor fails it will not force air
through the system. Ground a test lightlead to a good ground source, like a metal brace under
the dash, seat mount bolt or under hood brace. Turn the key to the on position;
check the fuse in the heater or blower motor fuse panel with a test light. Then
lightly touch the service port at the top of the fuse on both sides. If the
test light illuminates on both sides of the fuse, the fuse is ok and working
properly. If the fuse lights the test light on one side it is blown and needs
to be replaced.

Remove PCV valve from rocker cover. Run engine at i
dle. Place thumb over open end of PCV valve to
check for vacuum. If there is no vacuum at valve, c
heck for obstruction in manifold port, hoses or PCV
valve. Repair or replace as necessary.
Turn engine off. Remove PCV valve. Shake valve and
listen for rattle of check valve inside. If a clear
rattle is not heard, replace PCV valve.
Visually inspect valve for varnish or deposits whic
h may make PCV valve operation sticky, restricted o
r
cause incomplete seating of valve. Replace if neces
sary. An engine must be sealed for the PCV system t
o
function as designed. If leakage, sludging or dilut
ion of oil is noted AND the PCV system is functioni
ng
properly, check engine for cause and repair as requ
ired to insure PCV system will continue to function
properly. An engine operating without any crankcase
ventilation can be damaged so it is important to
replace PCV valve and air cleaner breather at regul
ar intervals (at least every 30,000 miles). Check a
ll hoses
and clamps for failure or deterioration.
