I am trying to replace a wheel lug on my 01

Buy new lug nuts for your vehicle. These can be purchased at an auto parts store or a tire and wheel store in complete sets, online at wheel retailers and through the dealer that sells your vehicle. Be sure to have your make and model of vehicle available so that you get the right lug bolts.
  • 2 Loosen the lug bolts on your vehicle with a lug wrench or a socket and ratchet. Raise the vehicle with a floor jack at the corner where you are going to replace the lug nuts. You can use the jack to support the vehicle while you replace the lug nuts or you can use a jack stand. If you use the floor jack, be careful as you remove and install the lug nuts.
  • 3 Finish removing the lug nuts on the wheel. Thread the new lug nuts onto the studs that the wheel is mounted on. Tighten the lug nuts as tightly as you can with the wheel still in the air. At some point the wheel will start turning.
  • 4 Lower the vehicle back to the ground. Tighten the lug nuts progressively in a crisscross pattern with a torque wrench to the specifications of the manufacturer. This will vary from make to make but is usually around 90 ft-lbs. Repeat the above steps for the other three wheels.

01 DIAMANTE IS SPUTTERING ANS A CK ENG SOON LIGHT

Hi,Due to the intricacy of your Diamante's Emission system, this condition could be caused by any number of Air/Fuel/Vaccuum components (or sensors). For this reason, you should have your diagnostics checked. In the meantime, look for any small vaccuum hoses which may have detached themselves from the MAP sensor, or other related component.Good luck...

On my 2001 Diamante, when I start it, I have to

Hi, Firstly, try to avoid depressing the gas pedal if possible, as this will flood the injection system.Due to the intricacy of your Diamante's Emission system, this condition could be caused by any number of air/fuel components. For this reason, DO NOT replace any parts, until you have had your diagnostic codes checked. If you're technically inclined, you can check the diagnostics yourself by jumping the No.1 & No. 4 pins on your diagnostic connector (under dash, above driver's knee). Turn key to ON (do not star) and observe the flash sequence on your Check Engine light.Report back with your findings...

Where under the hood is the computer plug

Hi, Not sure which computer plug you are referring to, as your vehicle does not have any computer connections under the hood. All computers are mounted in behind the front console (in behind the ashtray area), and some computers up inside the sides of the dashboard. If you are simply referring to your vehicle's OBDII plug, then this connection is UNDER the dash, above the driver's knee.Cheers,

Misubishi diamante bank 1 02 sensor. Is it

Oxygen sensors vary widely in price, from $30 or for a generic to almost $200. The ease of replacement depends on how hard it is to get at - I'm not familiar with your vehicle, so I can't comment on that part. The general procedure is to put Liquid Wrench (TM) on the threads of the oxygen sensor the day before you want to change it. Take the car for a trip (errand, commute, whatever), then let it cool down completely. The heat will help the Liquid Wrench do its job so the sensor will come out without too much fuss. Next, disconnect the sensor and remove it with a wrench or deep well socket. If necessary, cut off the sensor cable as close to the sensor as possible so you can get the socket on it. If you have a generic replacement, save the cut end of the cable because you may have to splice it on the new sensor.Note: some replacement sensors come with a mating connector installed, but the instructions tell you to cut that off and splice. If the installed connector matches your vehicle, ignore this; study the connector to see how it latches together, then disconnect the old sensor connector and plug in the new one. The splicing instructions are included because sometimes it is rather difficult to unlatch the connector hooks without wrecking the connector if you don't know how it's done. When you install the new sensor, follow the instructions on mounting torque. Too little will lead to an exhaust leak and erroneous readings; too much may damage the sensor or exhaust manifold and will make changing it a big problem the next time.

Something is draining battery over night

Look in the owner manual it will show and tell you what its for. If you still can't determine whats its for turn nthe car on an turn on each accessory until you find the one that doesn't work.
Then you have to back probe its circuit to see where its shorted.
