How do you adjust the hand brake on a 2001 Mitsubishi diamante
1. Adjust the rear drum shoes for minimal clearance. Note that the linings may need replacing.
2. If necessary (and may not be) replace the two hand brake cables. Cables can rust solid and jam, but rarely break.
3. Remove the center tunnel cover between the front seats. Adjust the cables so the hand brake handle has minimal upward movement.
4. Put it all back together.
I changed the front oil
Sounds like the timing is off. Check to see if you may be off a mark or two. Align all makes starting with the crank.
'02 Diamante oil light and clicking noise
Here goes:
Please do not drive the car.
Have the car towed to a well-recommended garage
Have someone unscrew the oil pressure light or gauge sending unit in the engine block and screw is a oil pressure guage ( hand held, used in garages).
Test that pressure carefully at all speeds.
Either you have: a bad oil pump, a plugged oil filter, a clogged oil passageway, or a bad engine.
The ticking sound might be valve lifters that are not receiving oil.

There is usually no printable information pertaining to motor mount replacement. Experience in automotive repair is the key to replacement. You can try a repair manual respective to the vehicle in question for mount replacement.
I need a code for my Mitsubishi diamante 2001 reg.
No one on line can give you the radio code. It was printed in the Owners manual and if you don't have that you are out of luck (If you ever buy a car without the owners manual you might as well forget ever doing anything with the radio) Must be taken to a dealer to have them look it up.

LOOK TO SEE IF THE VALVES ARE MOVING WHEN IT IS BEING CRANKED. TO DO THIS REMOVE THE OIL FILLER CAP IN THE VALVE COVER AND PEEK IN THERE WHILE CRANKING. THIS WILL SHOW IF THE TIMING BELT IS INTACT OR NOT. THE SPARK CAN BE TESTED BY INSERTING A SCRWDRIVER INTO ONE OF THE SPARKPLUG CABLES AND HOLD THE METAL PORTION OF THE SCREWDRIVER VERY NEAR A KNOWN GROUND. CRANK AND OBSERVE WHETHER YOU HAVE A BLUE SPARK HITTING THE GROUND YOU SELECTED.

Trace, your best bet is buying a repair manual ,and beable to do all kinds of repairs and it only cost about 15.00 ,it will have step by step how to ! or you can go to auto zone library (its free) and get it there its not the best but it works, you will need motor size . good luck .

My trunk wont latch
the bottom part like U sometimes is lose and drop to low. Lose the 2 screw and lift a bit. tight and try again. with small screwdriver push the latch and see if locking. maybe the cable is tight and stuck to open position. remove the cable from the latch ind pray WD-40

Fuel troubleshooting
U may have got some bad gas maybe with water in it. Check with service station to see if anyone else had a problem that day. This happen to me a few years ago and service station paid for my repair.
