Bought a pair of eagle eye headlight lenses for a 2006 Hyundai sonata. it shows adjustments on top of up and down and left and right but I can't find the adjustments.

Not sure exactly what eagle eye headlamps are. Not sure about the adjustment on your car but manufacturers have become increasingly devious with placing their adjusters out of sight - many are accessed with an Allen key through holes in the bonnet catch rail and some are thoughtfully provided with thumb wheels though only contortionists can reach them. My friend has an 03 Citroen and his headlamps are supposed to adjust automatically once the correct alignment has been set using diagnostic equipment...

2008 Hyundai Sonata. How do you reset a kill switch please?

" 2008 hydai donate ". I presume you meant 'Hyundai Sonata', so I changed it. :>) A car doesn't have a 'kill switch', only motorcycles and lawn tractors have those. Your car has an inertia switch which cuts off fuel after a collision. Have you been in a collision? Details matter. They also have anti-theft immobilizers. Have you recently disconnected the battery or put a new battery in the key fob? Have you connected a scan tool and looked for Diagnostic Trouble Codes?

2007 Hyundai Sonata 6 cylinder. I smell burning wires coming from right rear of engine. What can this be?

DO NOT use this vehicle! Smoke and a burning smell could be something serious! There is a huge amount of wires and electronics in a modern engine so unless you know what your doing DON'T mess about with the wiring. The safest thing to do now is to get a good Auto Electrician to come to you to look at this as soon as possible. This needs to be sorted as soon as you can to stop it becoming a VERY expensive problem. The rear right corner of the engine is where the main fuse box is located so this could be anything from a small wire to something much more serious.

Check engine light on rpm gauge

ok the crank sensor controls the rpm gage on your vehicle it sends a signal from the crank sensor to the pcm computer and from the computer to the rpm gage, there are 2 possible causes and that is the crank sensor not sending a signal to the instrument panel due to shorted, or the pcm not sending the signal to the instrument panel due to also shorted, there is a way to identify what the problem is.you will need to get the codes stored on the pcm memory with a scanner , or start by replacing the crank sensor , located on the transmission bell housing.------------ As you mentioned that check engine light is ON.So did you got the computer scanned.------In scanning you will get codes and as per codes replace the faulty part.---------
At autozone service center its absolutely free to get car scanned. They do it for free.------------
One more thing you can try is try to reset the computer and see, if check engine light turns off.--------- Disconnect the negative terminal of car battery for 30 minutes, then clean the terminal and reconnect it and turn the car on and check. If the check engine is off, that means reset is complete. But if still the check engine light is ON.Then the car needs to be scanned.---------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

I need to find out engine coolant temperature sensor location in my Hyundai sonata 2006

No country told or engine, well if it scans ok (PID ECT 200f.) engine hot normal. then no need to find it.!! if reads wrong most 16 year old thermostats are bad , life span is 7 years, says makers. if you learn to use a $15 IR thermal gun you see the truth and lay real blame on that reading only. learn this? if he IR gun show near 200f and ECT cans 200 then the ECT did not lie did it/? no. learn to use tools and learn to scan first then HUNTS Last . and is near the thermostat on most engines you failed to say which of many engines is in your car, to the blind helper, to fix any car learn first what is under-hood. or we all fail. hard. blind as bats in a silly text box. some engines run a reverse flow radiator, and is unlike any other cars.. see how engines are not the same? USA cars here it is RTM, its all there to read 24/7, all that and all engines USA. https://eautorepair.net/Marketing/Default.asp

What fuse is for cruise control in a 2009 hondai sonata

nada of cruise fails scan the PC it tells you why lean that on modern cars CRUISE is disabled for a long list of other failures. any major engine failures. any transmission failures. any brake failures. TWB errors, throttle by wire, TB or pedal. and more. check all fuse and scan the pCM or you will never know why. this is for your safety , no more cave man cruise boxed now. they are all gone now, and mostly dead years ago.cable cruise I call them.. cruise now is pure software. TBW + cruise magic software = cruise to you. the throttle is motor drive now. so cruise is pure software and 1 switch marked CRUISE+ resume.

Its a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. It hesitates when u drive it and engine light is on. Checked the transmission fluid level- it's good, so is it the sensor? Approx price for that's? And where should I go?

never ask prices of parts on the world stage, there is no answer or to be fully accurate there are 1 million answers in 1million stores. learn to diagnosis it first then buy parts , not the reverse ever. what does hesitation mean.? only the driver knows that, not us. can mean,
  1. engine stalls
  2. engine power lacks
  3. engine misfires violently (spark)
  4. engine bogs gently , fuel starvation
  5. transmission upshifts late or violently
  6. and lots more, find a shop ask them to CHECK IT OUT.
  7. good luck asking the blind and with no arms or legs top drive it.

Im getting codes p0007, p2667, p1229 (in that order), with no engine light on panel.

TO: Lionmark13 wants answers to this question 2011 answers only USA only oK? no country told at all, how sad is that? (super bad) some countries even above us, USA, up in CANADA the CEL LAMP rules are not the same as in USA, it hides errors up there. (laws odd) but lets forget oddness. NO ENGINE TOLD OF 3 (again USA lineup sold day1 new here) G 2.0 T-GDI, SONATA(YFA) G 2.4 GDI, SONATA(YFA) G 2.4 HEV, SONATA Hybrid(YF HEV) to fix a car DYI learn what's under the hood and ask the blind to guess.. continuous stops, t<< does this mean engine stalls to 0RPM driving? not told clearly what that means./ STALLS is the word for engines that die. dead. for no good reasons, STALLS. fuel smells driving parked or both or only head under hood./ not told. all fuel caps smell fore sure loose or off. nothing magic there. what wheel bay of 4, I can not guess that. off hand car seems to me a danger to drive, for sure see fuel raw leaking and liquid ANYWHERE, , look more carefully is wise. do not type DTC errors wrong, P and B and U are not the same. P1 and P2 codes are oem factory only codes. and only Hy orr all codes are bogus (seems they are) vast cheep scan tools show the wrong codes for example shows P0007 code but there is no such code at Hyundai at all. HYJACKER IS your post about smell or the 3 bogus DTC the OP posted. better is start you own post, with your full symptoms not others. I call bogus codes or written down grossly wrong. use only 2008 scan tools or newer and only those that states it can do factory OEM Hyundai codes.

My 03 Hyundai sonata 2.7 v6 gets stuck in 3RE gear how do I fix it

automatic transmission? we can not guess your skills the question is how a tech can fix it not you, you have no tools real. what means 3RE? (why the RE there)" ok typo day, 3RD (D is below E) got it. now and answer and told here 10000 times and googled 1million times. or more check all fuses then scan the PCm (TCM) for DTC errors then we look them up in the real service manual and amazing it tells you what to do next as in LOTS more tests with meters and gauges. stuck in 3rd gear means what.?
  1. shift lever stuck (as in will no move.
  2. in drive, car starts off in 3rd gear, now that be rare. but possible.
  3. in reverse cars goes forward but in 3rd gear.
  4. or coasting the transmission never goes below 3rd gear called engine transmission natural braking actions and auto downshift features. happens foot off gas pedal.
  5. or means overdrive or TCC lockup failing?
A/t boxes do lots of things, even wrong, but not told clearly here.

2011 Sonata. Check engine light is flashing. Came on after I drove through a puddle of water. Car has no acceleration. Seems fuel related.

flashing CEL means too rich fuel and danger of CAT melting.! the owners manual covers that, fact. slow down for deep water, if engine sucks in water the engine will seize and and be total loss. bend rods , bent crank. my guess is O2 sensors soaked, so let them dry off. if water hit spark plugs higher, those now are wet and water conducts HV voltage spark well and shorts out the spark plugs, so get those dry. learn to slow to A crawl if water goes deeper than 1 inch. or buy a tall 4wD jeep. like my Wrangler. I can do 20" of water slow. I have even forded streams. worst case is engine wrecked, best case dry it out, or wait 24hours before posting here.

2017 Hyundai Sonata Sport, receiving P0732 code. Does this mean the transmission is dead?

The transmission may not be totally dead. Did you get any other Trouble Codes? The issue could simply be a faulty sensor or a problem with the torque converter. Unfortunately, You will need to get a good specialist to look at your transmission as there are a lot of sensors on a vehicle engine and transmission.
