What would cause an alternator to intermittently unpredictably charge and then not charge on a 2006 Sonata.

Usually it is the regulator in the alternator that causes this condition of erratic charging.

Hyundai sonata 2002 remote

There is a special (proprietary) programming electronics 'black box' for the keyless entry system on all Hyundai vehicles for programming the remotes. This programming is stored in either the BCM (body control module) or the ETACS module (Electronic Time and Control System).

How do i open hood on 2010 sonata when the cable was disconnected? I tried cost hanger, taking off protctive plastic underneath car to reach under but latch is protected by a cover. Tried removing tire and covering to reach up wheel well but cannot access. Can see part of cable underneath but it has protective housing. Cannot pull on it as pulling on housing is no good.

First clamp down on the outer part of the cable you can see with vice grips so you compress the outer part of the cable on the inner part.and give it a good tug.Go ahead and break the outer part off the latch if you have to, You may have to pull that hard to open it.

2003 Hyundai Sonata Door Lock Problem

I had this problem. Through some research and asking some service personnel I found out it is a fairly easy fix. You will need to buy a new relay switch for the door locks. The dealer will/should know what you need. They are located (two of them, buy two and replace both) on the back side of the fuse box. It is not that easy to get back there. I had to lay on my back with my head up under the instrument panel. They are visible and can be removed if you take some time and be careful. Once I knew what I was looking at, it was easy to replace and the remote works like a charm. You can go to an auto supply, like Autozone, and they should have a schematic to show you where these relays are.
