How do I lock up my Hoveround MPV5?
1. Turn the controller on.
2. To lock the chair, depress and hold the ON/OFF button. After one second the controller will beep. Release the ON/OFF button. Move the joystick forward until the control beeps. Move the joystick in reverse until the control beeps. Release the joystick. There will be a long beep that indicates the controller is locked.
3. To unlock, turn the control system on. The speed/response indicator will be rippling up and down. Move the joystick forward until the control beeps. Then move the joystick in reverse until the control beeps. Release the joystick. There will be a long beep that indicates the controller is unlocked.

Bought 3 yr.old MPV4 with dead batteries and flat
You should be able to get batteries from the Company or a company that sells wheelchair batteries, as far as the tires, those type of wheelchair wheels are a lot smaller than standard wheels, I don't think you'd have much luck with that, they make tires that aren't foam filled, but are solid rubber wheels, and that would be more what you would need in that type of hoverround.. as for the manual, look online, go to their website,
www.hoverround.com if not ask around. Good Luck
I have a hoveround mpv4
bbass you will have to order a joystick from Hoverround or a hoveround provider if you want a new one. You can also check on e-bay or with a provider that might have a good used joystick. cost could be as much as 600.00 Hope this helps
Hoveround mpv4 does not work led flash when turned
This 8-light code is a joystick controller problem. It is an internal problem with the circuit board located inside the joystick. The entire joystick assembly would need to be replaced in this situation. If you are in need of a joystick, I have several for sale.
