My daughter just got a missil A940LCD2pk for her
It is possible it spent too long in transit from China and the battery died.
I suggest you reread the instructions to ensure you did everything right and if it won't work as per instructions it must be faulty and should be returned ASAP to the retailer for refund or replacement.
My mp3 player is not
Your English is OK Jessyka and at least as good as some UK natives.
If you successfully use your usb port for something else and become convinced the port and the connecting wire is working ok then the problem must be with your Mp3 player.
If your Mp3 player is charged and switched on, when it is connected to the usb it should appear in the My Computer section.
If the Mp3 player appears in My Computer you should be able to open the contents and add or remove music files and you should be able to right-click and view the properties.
If it does not appear in My Computer I suggest you try it with another computer and if there is no success you should assume it is faulty and requires repair.
The device might not be electrically faulty but might have been rendered useless by an internal software problem.
A few people have thought removing a lot of files from their Mp3 player was too much work and decided to empty the device by using the right-click formatting option - which is too successful and renders the device useless as it also removes the operating software from the device.
One such person who posted here discovered her "helpful" younger brother had done this. Beware of brothers!
How do I fix the sound
is the cable plugged into the player?????
If it is then you probably have a broken cable
Subtitles how to turn them off
You should be able to select the subtitles off on the main menu of any DVD you are watching. Nearly all DVD's have the ability to set the audio language.
I bought two videos off Itunes too put on my mp3 player not worken
Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. Click on this link for instructions on converting video files for MP3 players :-

No sound just pops when changing channels
Just to take a guess the unit can have broken solder joints in it and any modern good headphone should work in the unit from 8 ohm to 30 ohm types. The ESP button probably has something to do with tone output enhancement. Sound a lot like a term used in Sony Walkman cassette players.
CD boombox and headphones
HelloWhen a headphone pin is inserted into a headphone socket, it is normal that the internal speaker of the system will cut OFF. It is normal operation, and not a fault. The speakers of such portable sets are wired such that it should cut OFF when headphone pin is inserted into it. We inserts headphone pin to hear the reception or CD music personally. So there is no need for an output from its speakers. Isn't it?
I have been charging this
It is one of two things:
1. The power for whet the stick is plugged into is lower that the "Full" power level of the battery
2. The battery is old.
My bet is on number one as the previous owner says that it worked fine. Try a different power source.
